My first actual RP. WOOT!
Irallia is a land of 5 major races: the Dragons of the northern volcanos, The cat ninja of the eastern jungles, the wolf druids of the central plains, the Necromantic snake people of the southern dunes, and the humans of the western forests. Humans are the relative newcomers, they've only been on Irallia for 200 years, and in that time they built an empire that took over most of Irallia.
There is extreme prejudice between the humans and the other 4 races. It has gotten to the point where any non-human can be taken as a slave.
There is a resistance against the Empire lead by a golden dragon named Tiamat. Their goal is to bring down Emperor Zelas and bring a new government to Irallia, one that favors all races and not just the humans.

Tiamat is usually the evil god of dragons. Bahamut is the good god, typically the platinum dragon. That was my first thought.
2nd thought - what kind of dragons are allowed? Judging by the desire to bring back balance by Tiamat, i would imagine the metallic dragons (good dragons - Gold, Silver, brass, bronze and copper) and perhaps nuetral dragons? Such as the gem dragons, and a few others?
My brain is terribly preprogrammed to DnD when it comes to dragons. Although Final Fantasy keeps with the lore as far as the dragon king/god being bahumut.

#2 I picked the name because she is also called the mother of life, so like any good mother, she would want to protect the people and land from the Empire, who are destroying the beauty of Irallia.

#5 Tiamat is just the leader of the Resistance, not the ruler of the dragons
#6 the Chromatic dragons will still be evil, but they work with the resistance because they hate the Empire even more. _________________

This will change as the story moves on but here is the is how I'll start off.
Name: Kyle
Age: Around 18
Race:Nekomusha (Cat)
Occupation: escaped slave
Rank: None (going to join the resistance sooner or later.)
Weapons:
1) Claws
2) A stick (will change)
Armor: None (will change)
Skills: Agile, and quick thinking
Magic: Can't use magic, do to null spells casted on him as a slave
Weaknesses: mentally unstable and physically drained. Does not trust anyone.
Description: Black fur, yellow green eyes, 5' 11" tall, left ear is missing a rather large chunk, has many scars. Currently wearing brown tattered pants, no shirt, Wrist irons but the chain is broken.
History: Kyle has no memories from before he was enslaved. Has been a slave to a cruel owner for close to 12 years. Slowly lost his sanity during that time, no thanks to control spells. (Thank you, 2kinds). Now is on the run from a slave recoverer. He doesn't trust anyone do to the fact that no one around him has even been trust worthy. It's rank as in rank in the resistance or the army of the empire.
There is (In order) Newbie, fresh meat, recruit, fighter, captain, general, second in command, and then leader. That's for the resistance. the army is like the normal army, so yea. _________________

Description: Human: 6'9", Blond, silver eyes, lean but strong build. Dragon: Gold dragon, about as big as his human form.
History: He joined the Resistance because he believed the Empire is evil and will stop at nothing to destroy it. Other than that, nobody knows, he doesn't like to talk about it. _________________

Leaving Tiamat gold is fine. A gold dragon would be the best leadership icon for a fight against evil/evil intent/etc.
If I do this I would most likely play a Fang Dragon. I intend to follow DnD on how the dragon itself would act, alignment, abilities etc.
Being as I would follow that, what age/level would we be starting at?
I know I ask a shit-ton of questions, but with dragons, its easy to overkill an RP. Easy for me anyways. _________________ Sarcasm, just one more service that I offer.

(It started as one and kept growing. Only if you had my mind could you comprehend how many I have now... and by that I mean 8 ... and now it's 9... 10... 100000 if you count the followers of the evil ones...) This char. would be more fun in my oppinion. (No, I don't mean he can explode at will)
So are the limits of power about the same as the 2nd Shadowfall? And could you be a bit more specific on what each category of the sign-up means?
