Bahamut, the Platinum Dragon, god and creator of the chromatics, has been spending the past 20 years collecting orphaned wyrmlings. The wyrmlings were typically orphaned because something killed its parents. Whether it was another dragon, humanoids, giants, animals, well, that varies, but each dragon here remembers little to none of it's parents.
What at first seemed to be a kind hearted gesture soon became a plan. A plan the great god had set into motion. The young have not yet been told what the plan is as they are awaiting for their companions to arrive. Once they are together Bahamut will instruct them further.
Some of the young think that Bahamut's plan involves spreading the knowledge of dragons, others think it's revenge for their parents, some even think that they are to spread the message to go into hiding so that the gods can purge the world.
The world outside Bahamut's lair: The world is similar to earth. Climates and regions ranging from dry and hot to wet and frigid. There are various races of humanoids and many, many species of animals, including magical beasts, elementals, and oozes. Summoning demons and devils, even the prayers for angels still exist. Constructs are a bit more common, mostly due to the increase in technology.
There has been a lessening of magic in the world as more and more engineered items have come into play. The gnomes and dwarves have worked vigorously together for years to find better ways to use stones and ore. The humans have taken an interest in this engineering. They quickly pick up on how to use it and master it. While the elves have started to hide from this technology. They view it as unnatural and believe its just the beginning of times to end. The halflings are finding use in the engineering. It's made their thieving tendencies a bit easier. They have profited. Even the half-orcs have profited from the engineering. It's created better war machines and devices. Some of the humanoid races are fear the technology and pray daily for their gods to intervene, but they fear their gods have stopped listening.
Back at the lair: The young are becoming more and more restless awaiting for Bahamut to reveal their purpose.
Will you do as your god requests? Of course you will. Otherwise there is no point even trying to play this campaign. keke!
This is more or less what Bahamut looks like. More less than less more.

Rhinli started her morning like most every morning. She awoke, stretched then started to tend to who her younger companions. She had gotten into the habit of waking them up and getting them ready for breakfast a few years ago. It was lonely being the only one awake for a few hours, so she decided to put them on her schedule so she would have others to joke with, tease, and play with.
Playing with Bahamut was usually not fun. He'd sit for hours looking down through the clouds watching his children on the planet. This morning proved to be like all other mornings so far. Rhinli flitted over to Bahamut's side. She was one of the older wyrmlings in the clutch.
"Papa? What's for breakfast? The others are awake now."
=============================================
Rhinli had started calling Bahamut, Papa and he rather enjoyed it. It had been so long since he was called that. Back in the days when the gods first started to create life. He and Tiamat had worked together hard in creating their race. He watched as the first few dragons were made. Tiamat and Bahamut worked together to raise the children they created. After the other gods made more races, Tiamat was intrigued with how the other races would battle. She was overcome with greed and warfare. She soon created what are now known as the chromatic dragons. The evil dragons. Tiamat's appearance had also altered from the feelings in her heart. She soon took on the shape of one massive dragon with 5 heads. One for each of her chromatic children.
Bahamut had no choice but to react to his love's behavior. The world below started to become twisted. He gathered their original dragons and changed them to what we now call the metallic dragons. They were the chromatics opposite. A balance was brought back to the planet, although the damage between the two gods was irreparable. Tiamat resented Bahamut for his interference. Bahamut was saddened that his mate could be corrupted so easily.
=============================================
Bahamut let out a big sigh, then shook his head, like a dog shaking water off itself.
"Oh. I'm sorry Rhinli. My mind was elsewhere. Breakfast. Yes, let's go make some."
Bahamut got up and stretched himself out. Rhinli was a mere speck next to his gargantuan size. Bahamut though quickly altered himself to a more humanoid form, a dragonkin. He often used this form, especially with new arrivals. He's learned over the years his dragon form was intimidating the the children, while they fear his human form, and many with good reason.
Bahamut walked over to the table to prepare breakfast for all the wyrmlings.
"Let's see... What should we have for breakfast, Rhinli?" "I was thinking of some emperor scorpions, Papa."
Bahamut let out a chuckle. "Yes, that would be normal for you, but what about the rest of them?" "Hrm... well it seems most of the black wyrmlings want fish today, particularly a whale shark is what they were chattering about. The blues were hoping for some camels. The greens were asking for elves again, but would settle for anything. The reds wanted humans as usual, but will settle for anything that has meat. The whites are asking for some more 'pup'sicles. The brass are not being picky this morning. The bronze are requesting shark as well. I've already said what the coppers want." She gave Bahamut a toothy grin. "The golds have asked for more pearls. The silvers asked for some fillet mignon and creme de 'bulette'. As usual the amethysts, crystals, and emeralds have no preference. Anything will do. I say we give them something different today. How about some 'magmin'? They can practice hunting with those little buggers." Rhinli chuckled again. "The sapphire are requesting 'driders'. And the topaz want 'krakken'."
Bahamut thought for a moment. "I think we can let the greens have some elves today. Drow to be particular. They've been creating a lot of ruckus above ground lately, disturbing the lesser dragons. The reds...they will get drow as well today." Bahamut smiled. "Give me about 30 minutes to gather everything up and I will have breakfast set up."
"Ok Papa," said Rhinli as she trotted back to the rest of the wyrmlings, looking for some to joke with, or play a prank if she can't get them to talk.

Short lesson in dragon cuisine.
Black dragons like fish, mollusks, and aquatic creatures.
Blue dragons love to eat camel, but will eat snakes, lizards and desert plants.
Green dragons favor elves and sprites, but will eat anything.
Red dragons are meat eaters. They favor humans and young elves.
White dragons eat anything, but it must be frozen solid. Hence 'pup'sicles.
Brass dragons eat almost anything if needed, but usually they eat very little. They get most their nourishment from morning dew.
Bronze dragons eat aquatic plants and some varieties of seafood. They especially love shark meat and will eat the occasional pearl.
Copper dragons love to hunt their food. The prize monstrous scorpions and other large poisonous creatures. They can ingest the poison with no harm, but should they be stung with the poison, it still will affect them normally.
Gold dragons sustain themselves on pearls or small gems.
Silver dragons have a taste for human cuisine. Creme de bulette is a play on words. Creme brulee is what was played. Bulette are huge magical beasts. Imagine a great white shark with legs. That's about what they look like and are just as vicious.
Amethyst, Crystal and Emerald dragons don't have a favorite food. Anything elemental will do. A magmin is a small fire elemental. Looks like a flaming gnome to put it best.
Sapphire dragons love monstrous spiders. Driders are drow (dark elves) who failed to pass a test set forth by their goddess. They are turned into driders. Half spider, half dark elf. Always ugly.
Topaz dragons love sharks and giant squid. I hope you all know what Krakken is.

Zotasu froze, only his tail quivering slightly. He had no idea where he was, or how he had come to be in this cavernous room. His thoughts trailed back to the cell he had been sitting in, sleeping in the cramped area his captors had set aside for his storage. The bright light during the night was only just registering, when it had occurred it had failed to pierce his dreamy state, and it was only now that he realized it was probably important.
With a grimace Zotasu realized he must be slipping. He had managed to stay alive this long without his parents or any family only because he was quick, and no one had managed to catch him. Or, if they did, they couldn’t keep him for long. The problem was though, that once you’ve escaped from a group enough times, they start to wise up. Zotasu feared that the bright light had been some sort of tranquilizer magic, and they had moved him here while he had been out cold. Odd though, he didn’t feel like he’d been knocked out, only like he’d been sleeping.
Determined to make the best of the situation the emerald dragon stood, stretched out, and began examining the room.
((Ginpu, I’m not exactly sure how the room is set up. Also, I don’t know how I’m supposed to use my skills… so, uh… Gather Information, I choose you!))
ginpu
((LOL, skills are just a way of how successful you are at interacting with others mostly. In this case survival or knowledge dungeoneering, would be most likely to assist you. But it's ok. I don't expect everyone to understand it all at once. keke))
==============================================
A chiming bell grabbed Rhinli's attention as she headed back to the nest. "Oh? Papa's brought another one. Wonder what kind this one is. Hopefully they are fun," she said as the proverbial devil horns appeared from her crest.
Rhinli took flight and headed towards the reception room. This is where the new orphans were brought in. As Rhinli flew towards the reception room, she looked around at the home. It was a nice one. Not what she was used to, but nice.
Bahamut had peculiar taste. While most dragons make their homes in caves, be them underground or above, Bahamut didn't. His lair was very close to that an established gold dragon would use. It was very similar to a humanoid dwelling. It was built into the side of a cliff. There was a glass observation room that jutted out past the cliff face. This room was entirely glass, the walls, the ceiling and floor. It was decorated with some fine chairs and low tables. On the tables were a few books and even some candy dishes filled with gems. You could easily see the river than ran below the room.
The next room was the banquet hall. It had 3 long tables in it. Each table was lined with chairs that would accommodate any being that chose to use it. Each chair was magical and easily changed to suit its visitor.
From the banquet hall was the main hall. Rooms branched from the main hall. The first left doorway was the resting chamber. This is where the wyrmlings were nested, the floor was lined with gems and coins of all types and sizes. Each of the wyrmlings made their own little designated areas to sleep in here. There were even bolts of cloth, such as silk and cotton. These were helpful in the wintertime. Not every dragon is comfortable in the cold.
The next room on the left was the storage room. This is where Bahamut would keep food and supplies. Pretty much anything you need is found in here.
The next room was the fresh water cistern. This was how fresh water was supplied to the dwelling.
Starting at the banquet hall, the first right door was the kitchen. Food was prepared here. It was lined with cabinets and shelves of all sorts of food. Anything anyone would want was possible.
The next room is the rest room. It has several rest rooms in it. Showers, toilets, baths, and sinks were found here. Bahamut didn't just have the wyrmlings here. He was often visited by several races of humanoids and other gods.
The next room was the study. The walls were lined with books of every imaginable type in any language one would need. Bahamut used it like a classroom to teach the wyrmlings about dragons in general, their particular color and the world around them.
Back to the main hall, you follow it through the entry halls before reaching a security door. Passing this door required a password and it had to be spoken properly in draconic. Rhinli approached the door and spoke the words. The door opened briefly allowing her small body enough time to jump through.
Rhinli headed down the hallway towards the reception room. As she got closer to the room she flew closer to the ceiling and reached out a foot to touch it. She then flipped her self upside down and continued walking on the ceiling to the reception room.
As she passed through the doorway she was able to see what was waiting here. A very young emerald dragon was waiting in the room. It looked scared, and Rhinli could understand that feeling. She too once felt that way.
She circled around on the ceiling. Thinking and studying the dragon's movements.
============================================
((Zotasu has alertness which increases his ability to spot Rhinli. Chances are he's heard her walking on the ceiling. She's made no attempts to move silently. Instead of her dive bombing him from above, I am giving him the option to react before her next action. This allows the other person time to do something, and makes it so that one person doesn't control the entire encounter. Be it a fight seen or a simple attempt at hide and seek.))
Durandal
Zotasu had spotted the dragon when she had entered the room, but he didn’t know what to make of her. She wasn’t as big as he was, but she could still be dangerous. Attempting to be natural about it, Zotasu walked around the outside of the room, attempting to keep as much distance between himself and her as possible while not letting on the fact that he had seen the newcomer. Out of the corner of his eye he watched her approach, and he attempted to determine her motive for being here.
The presence of another dragon could have been a really good thing, but at the same time Zotasu remembered tales of ‘evil’ dragons, ones only interested in fighting and destruction. What he knew about other dragons came from his parents, before they had been… separated when Zotasu was still very young. Considering his situation, Zotasu wasn’t even sure if he would be able to communicate with another dragon. His draconic hadn’t been fully learned, and lack of use meant that his lexicon was severely limited. Instead, whenever he needed to speak with other beings, he used the bits and pieces of the human and Elven languages he had learned. Hopefully this wouldn’t cause a problem with whoever had brought him here.
ginpu
Rhinli peered down at her new companion. This one might be a bit of fun, she thought to herself. Without anymore hesitation she let go of the ceiling, rolled over in mid air then dove down towards the slightly bigger dragon. While she soared down she squealed in delight. Her aim was to tackle him and welcome him. Now, if she could just be successful. There have been some in the past that have avoided her. Though she felt good about taking this chance.
===============================================

When the other dragon leapt into motion, Zotasu considered dodging, but he recognized that her intentions were friendly… more or less. Since she didn’t seem large enough to do any serious damage, and he wanted to make sure he didn’t alienate someone who meant him no harm, Zotasu decided to simply brace himself for impact. He lowered his head, folded his wings, and waited.
ginpu
((Thought I would include a dragonkin image so you have an idea what form Bahamut is currently in. I like images, they help A LOT!))
==============================================
Rhinli's dive bomb made contact with the newcomer. However, even though she's done this many times, this was one of her messier attempts. She didn't take into the consideration of how dead weight the newcomer made himself. Instead of landing on him and tumbling on the ground with him, she crashed into him, which caused her to tumble off him, right towards the wall. She closed her eyes and rolled into a ball hoping to lessen the miscalculated blow. She hit the floor and rolled straight into the wall.
When she ceased moving she tried to straighten herself out but things didn't look right. The new dragon was upside down. "Well how did you do that one?" she asked outloud. It was only then that she realized she was resting on her shoulders on the floor while her hind legs and tail were above her. She looked quite goofy and confused for the moment.
When she realized what was wrong she released her self from the wall. ((spider climb is always active, and this stuff is prone to happen.)) She straightened herself out and walked to the dragon.
""Hi! I'm Rhinli. Welcome to your new home. You are just in time for breakfast. Come with me. Most the other emeralds are awaiting some magmin that Papa went to fetch. You'll like Papa. He's really nice. Come with me." She started to trot to towards the secret door and motioned for the new dragon to follow her.
Durandal
"Ah... Rhinli," he echoed before starting to follow her. Fortunately he had managed to understand most of what she had said, even if he had failed to comprehend what she meant. "'New home'?" Zotasu increased his speed so he could catch up with her. "This... this where to live for now on? I do- er... I will?" With an annoyed look he admitted quietly. "Apologize, speaking of Dragons... I do not so well- know it, so well. I am but Zotasu, and I have met you happily."
The truth was though, despite his attempts at politeness, Zotasu was very much confused. He had been spirited away from his captors, he understood that and appreciated it, but these new dragons... did they intend to keep him here. On the other side, he considered that perhaps meeting some other dragons might not be such a bad thing. Rhinli, although overly energetic, seemed nice enough, and being able to stay with his own kind would be... well, it would certainly be interesting. Zotasu decided to observe carefully before he came to any conclusions.
ginpu
"Here we go," Rhinli said as she stopped in front of a solid wall. "It's ok if your draconic is rusty. Papa is very smart and can help you. Zotasu...that's an interesting name," she smiled.
Rhinli spoke some words and the door opened. "Come through quickly," she said as she leapt through the doorway. "Papa can answer all the questions you have. Breakfast first."
Durandal
"Yes, food is very nice. I have hunger," Zotasu agreed as he squeezed through the doorway. "I wish to meet 'Papa', but 'breakfast first'... yes." He realized that he hadn't eaten in quite a while, but at the same time he still wasn't sure if he could trust any food he was given. He'd have to be careful, checking it for anything wrong with it.
"Zotasu is the name I name..." he paused and tried to rephrase. "It's my name I gave my- me." He stopped again and sighed. This was proving to be more difficult than he had imagined. If only his parents had been around longer, or he had paid better attention during the time he’d had with them.
ginpu
"No worries. Everyone here lost their parents," Rhinli says. "We've lost our parents for all different reasons. Another dragon killed them, humans, giants, orcs, drow and duegar to name a few." ((Deugar, spelling might be off, are the dwarves of the underdark. The same place drow live. Dark elves, dark dwarves. All evil.))
Rhinli tells Zotasu what each room is and what can be found in them. As they approach the resting room (nursery/bedroom) she tells him, "this is where we all sleep. Papa's done a lot to help us to be as comfortable and happy as we can. You'll see there are all kinds of dragons here." She walks into the room and explains to him about the 15 different types in the room. "Even though some of them are the color of the evil dragons, we all get along here. I can only hope this could stretch out to outside this dwelling." Rhinli pauses for a moment as though she is lost in thought.
From behind the distinguishable sound of nails on marble can be heard. Rhinli turns to see Bahamut has returned. All the wyrmlings scurry to his feet anxiously awaiting the ok for breakfast. "Breakfast is ready little ones," he says to the group. They all cheer and run out the room. He looks at Rhinli and smiles. "Go have breakfast dear, the scorpions are waiting at your seat." "Yes! See you later Zotasu," she says as she high tails it out of the room.
Bahamut's gaze falls to the little emerald dragon. "Zotasu is it?" he says warmly. "Don't worry little one. Things will be fine. We'll talk after breakfast. Come with me and I'll show you to your seat." He motions for the little emerald to follow him.
Durandal
((Yeah, I appreciate all the pictures. They definitely help me get a better mental image))
By this point, Zotasu was really starting to notice his hungry stomach’s plaintive growls of hunger. He followed Bahamut, but at the same time his curiosity began to catch up to him. “You is… Rhinli father?” He couldn’t keep the skepticism he felt from creeping into his broken Draconic. This new person didn’t look like Rhinli… he didn’t even look like he was fully dragon. Zotasu had never seen anyone who looked like he did. His paranoia was trying to play tricks on his mind, but at the same time he felt oddly safe in his new surroundings, a sort of security he hadn’t felt for a long time.
ginpu
"Father? In a way. Her real parents were killed by red dragons. It happens too often. I'm every dragon's father. Let's eat first. We will talk afterwards. I promise." He smiled warmly at Zotasu.
They continued to the banquet hall. "Here we go. As you can see, everyone has a different tastes. Normally your kind eat the elements themselves, as do the amethysts and crystals. This morning I've brought them magmin. Little fire elementals. Tricksters really. Very entertaining, and according to the dragons, very delicious," he smiled.
"You can join them in chasing them down, or I have a few set aside for those who's hunting needs work. Your choice." He smiled again at Zotasu. Bahamut wallked to a chair at the back of the room. It was centered in the room so that he could watch over the children. Bahamut let out a sigh. "If only they could all get along like this when they get older. Dear Tiamat. Why did things have to turn out like this," he spoke quietly to himself.
Durandal
Zotasu nodded and then looked for the tell-tale sparkling of other gem dragons. He had never even heard of a 'magmin' before, so he decided he try and find someone who seemed to know them better and watch how they went about eating it.
The other dragons seemed to be enjoying their little hunting activity, but Zotasu didn't really understand the joy in it. He watched as they taunted the magmin, taking turns pouncing on them as one by one the gem dragons secured their breakfast. Without any ceremony about it, Zotasu stepped up behind a magmin that had wondered in front of him backwards and snapped at its head. He pulled away with it in his mouth, and for a second he seemed surprised at how easy that had been.
"Hey, that was my magmin! I was already hunting it!" Zotasu glanced up to see a crystal dragon glaring at him angrily. Embarrassment came over him as several of the other younglings turned to see what the commotion was about.
After an attempted apology that came out garbled because of the morsel in his mouth, he quickly spat out the magmin. "I sorry did not know." He used his front foot to scoot the dazed but still alive Magmin towards her. "You have."
The crystal dragon stuck out her tongue and sneered. "I don't want that... you've touched it." With that she walked away to go find another one. The other dragons stared at Zotasu a second longer before they too turned from him.
The magmin looked up at his captor and blinked before he began scooting clandestinely away. By this point Zotasu didn't care if it escaped. He'd only been here a couple minutes and already he'd made a fool of himself. But then his stomach protested loudly against his brain, reminding him of his hunger. With a newfound energy, Zotasu reached over and grabbed a hold of the magmin again. He turned and decided to look for Rhinli. At least she had been nice to him.
ginpu
Rhinli was stalking an emperor scorpion. Bright, blue, and dangerous. She was crawling with her front legs down and her rump up and she tried to cautiously approach the vermin.
She heard some commotion and looked up. She had seen that there was a crystal dragon speaking at Zotasu. It didn't sound like it was a good thing. She quickly returned her glance to the scorpion. It had noticed her and began charging at her. It's pincers snapping at the air and it's tail carried high. Rhinli jumped up into the air quickly to avoid being stung.
She already lost on stalking the scorpion. She took a brief inhale and spat a small amount of acid on the scorpion. It's movements ceased. She landed and picked up the scorpion bringing it towards a sink. Rhinli didn't particularly care for the taste of her acid. She rinsed the scorpion off before placing it in her mouth and began chewing on it as she headed over to where Zotasu was.
"Karaglen! Stop being so mean. Zotasu just got here," she said to the crystal dragon. "You remember what it was like when you first got here don't you?" The crystal dragon looked back at Rhinli. Her face turned to sorrow as she remembered how afraid and lost she was when she first arrived. It was clear she recognized what she did was wrong. Karaglen walked over to Zotasu and bowed before him. "I'm sorry. I didn't realize. I got caught up in the thrill of the hunt." Her head hung somewhat low awaiting his response.
Durandal
Zotasu blinked with surprise at the turn-around. He hadn't caught all of what Rhinli had said, but he understood the gist of it. He lowered his head to look into Karaglen's eyes. "Ah... no, sorry. I was faulted. You... need no am sorry- be sorry," he corrected with a wince. He knew what he wanted to say when he ran the words through his mind, but then they came out all wrong.
"I am happy if you... to have this." In his ((paw? claw? hand? )) he held out the magmin toward her, and it sat there looking confused.
((My idea of a magmin is like Bomberman on fire. I'm probably wrong but that's kinda my theme with all this dragon stuff anyway. Just try your best to incorporate my weirdness with your DnD knowledge. ))

Alec's eyes opened with crust emerging from them and a small bone rested in his claw that he had been chewing on last night. As he moved the flakes started to fall to the ground as his claw moved his slump body from numbness to being awake. "Mmm, slept in." He mumbled to himself as he headed out the doorway with his small body sleuthing through it.
His now cleaned eyes traced the many dragon's hunting their breakfasts in activity and he yawned. "You guys work too much." Alec paced around the room waiting for breakfast to be over so he could get the remains. A scorpion passed his tail and ignored it, seeing him as not a threat.
(Do wrymlings have dragonkin forms? How can I flick someone off if I walk on all fours just in case... or do dragon's have a speical way of flicking someone off?)
ginpu
((Nope. You are very close. I go find picture.))
Karaglen looked at the magmin. Her staring at it was disrupted by the grumbling sound from Zotasu's stomach. "Hrm" she said. With out a second thought she bit the magmin in half. She slurped down the top half then picked up the second half and handed it to Zotasu. "We'll share," she smiled.
Durandal
((Heh, I just realized, I should have specified. My 'theme' for all of this isn't 'Bomberman on fire.' Rather I was commenting on the frequency of my mistakes. Heh heh... Anyway, thanks for the pic. My version of it was a lot like that, only chibi-ified.))
“Ah, thank you,” Zotasu replied before eating the remainder of the magmin. It was surprisingly delicious. When he had chewed it up, he looked at Rhinli and then Karaglen again. “I am thanking you very much again,” he said. “I will say goodbye now, but you speak with me at later.” With a bow that mimicked the one Karaglen had given him earlier, he started walking towards to the other side of the room. “Rhinli, I need should speak with… Papa, now. I see you at later.”
((Mmmm... Oblivion is calling. I'll check back for a reply later.))
Dr. Salem
Alec returned to pacing around until he found Karaglen sharing her food with a newcomer and he walked off. This should be interesting, I better give him his initiation. A small menacing grin appeared on his face as Alec followed him silently across the room. Little did he notice a sharp bone on the floor and he had stepped on it. "YOWCH!" He yelled in pain, fell on his back side and held his foot.
ginpu
Bahamut looked up from his seat as he heard the cry. He looked around quickly to see the source. Alec... he sighed. He got up and went to the wyrmling to make sure he was ok. He kneeled down and lifted the little one up. "When prowling, you need to be aware of your situation around you. This especially includes the ground you walk on." Bahamut held Alec on his back like a baby. "Be still for one moment." He quickly pulled the bone from Alec's foot before the whelp could let out a cry. Bahamut's hand began to glow green for a moment. He touched the hole left by the bone, and it healed.
Bahamut turned Alec right side up and placed him on the ground. "Try and be more careful Alec."
Bahamut looked around the room and took note of how everyone was getting along. He watched the interaction of Zotasu and Karaglen, and Rhinli playing the big sister. He was quite pleased with how the situation took care of itself. He walked over to Zotasu. "It would seem you are done eating now, come let's go talk." He smiled warmly.
A feeling of warmth and security washed over Zotasu. "Shall we?" Bahamut asked as he motioned for Zotasu to follow him to the study.
==========================================
Rhinli had watched transpired with Alec. She flitted over to him and hovered above him. She giggled down at him. "Looks like you could use some more hunting practice." She stuck her tongue out at him challenging him.
Rhinli has always taunted Alec since his arrival. She found it humorous to see how flustered he would get, and just end up flickering her off in the end. Today's taunt would probably end the same as the other days, but Rhinli couldn't help her mischievous nature.

*Kalm ((Went with the most ironic name I could think of)) gave up on trying to break free, he knew he wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. Kalm sat in Nym's arm grumbling to himself. What upset him the most at the moment wasn't the fact that his parents where just killed, but the fact he was taken from his home and couldn't do a thing about.* "Stupid Slivers" *He muttered not caring who heard him.*
ginpu
Nym looked down at the wyrmling. "I can understand your pain. Whether you chose to believe me or not, is of course, your choice. My parents were taken from me as well, by your grandparents. The fights between us need to cease. We are only hurting each other."
Nym looked around the room. "It's been so long since I was here." He let out a sigh of memory. "I'm going to set you down now as we wait for Bahamut. I am sure your parents have told you of him. Please, try not to break anything. Chances are, you will only hurt yourself trying."
You can see that the reception room is decorated with the most beautiful of furniture. Tapestries older then Nym hang on the walls. Each depicting different times of the dragon race. Some showed peace while others showed war. The floor was of the most exquisite marble, the colors swirled together effortlessly and the smoothness was like glass. The chairs ranged in color from ebony to mahogany. It was clear they were antiques and in the best of condition. The tables were low and contained many books. Each book looked as though it was the first printing of its title, most likely they were the originals. The windows had draperies hung from them, made from the finest of silks.
"Seems as though it's breakfast time for them. We may be here a while. Is there anything you would like to eat or to drink?" Nym asked Kalm.
BlackBlade
*Kalm looked around the room he was interested in the war tapestries.* "Bahamut...... Bahamut...... I heard the name it before but can't place it." *Kalm went over to the window, the sun reflected off his glossy red scales. He had never spent much time outside and was awe stricken by the view. He spent several minutes just staring out at the world.* "I'm more tired than hungry" Kalm finally said jumping onto a chair. "But could always eat some fresh meat." *Kalm gave a toothy grin*

Alec just stuck his tongue out at Rhinli, deciding not to flick her off today. "F-you, Rhinli. You know the Old Man ignores the fact I have a bad attention span. I was focused on the new guy, and the Old Man just takes him away." He licked the sore on his foot with his tongue, his eyes burning with frustration.

"Fresh meat? Well, suppose I can do something for you there." Nym walked towards the mahogany table. He held his hands above it as he began casting a spell. At the completion of the spell, several platters of uncooked, fresh meat appeared.
"Well then. We have beef, pork, chicken, turkey, fish, hossenfeffer, venison, mutton, camel, and emu. Eat whatever fills you." He smiled at Kalm as he went back to studying the tapestries. "Can we ever return to this," Nym wondered quietly.
===============================================
Rhinli looked surprised. "Alec, you know that Papa talks to each of use when we arrive here," she said as she landed on the ground. "Yes, he knows as do the rest of us, of your attention span," she frowned. "You can meet Zotasu after they are done talking. He does have a problem with draconic though. Hopefully that can be fixed soon." She smiled at Alec.

((Going to head to bed. short day. I will post responses in the morning. Nights))

*Kalm looked at the meat* "What no human? I guess I'll find something else close to it." *Kalm said this with a tone of disappointment, and did not here or see what Nym was looking. The sad truth was that Kalm was use to eating human flesh, his parents would feed it to him all the time, it was proved by the local town. He had grown use to the taste and didn't like much else.* "Oh well, beef it is" *Kalm quickly downed the beef and then passed out asleep in the chair.*
((See you tomorrow I'm going to bed too.))

Another room change, another chance to follow his new hosts. It seemed to Zotasu that he had played the tourist ever since he had arrived. Contrary to his own feelings about his situation, Zotasu couldn’t help but feel at ease here in this place, surrounded by other dragons. Part of him worried that his seemingly unfounded trust might set him up for future betrayal, but another part simply said ‘enough.’ He’d been on his own for most of his life, and this opportunity that had been presented to him was far too sweet to pass.
Still, Zotasu remained alert and slightly tense as he followed ‘Papa’ to his study. Inside of him ten thousand questions surged through his mind, his curiosity almost giving him physical discomfort. It was only through his uncertainty that he managed to restrain himself.
((Jah, I'm going to bed too. Actually, probably more Oblivion, despite my better judgement... Goodnight!))
Dr. Salem
Alec relaxed on the floor watching others scurry for their food. "I don't need to talk to him, just mess with the bugger. Bring me back some food... please." He asked her, he knew the only thing he was no good at hunting since he scavenged pretty much his every piece of food since his first day of life.
((Look at my posts! There so small and undetailed!))
ginpu
((Do not worry about small posts. You respond frequently enough to make up for it. ))
=========================================
Rhinli stared at Alec for a moment. "Wow... when did you learn to say please?" She was rather shocked as this wasn't exactly normal for him. "You know, don't answer that. I'll go grab you some shark and squid." Rhinli flitted off to get Alec some food.
After a short time she returned and set down the plate before Alec. "Here you go." She gave a short bow and headed off towards the rest of the coppers, trying to engage in some chit chat and idle banter.
=========================================
Nym stared at the small red dragon. A shame that all you were brought up on was humans. The human cuisine is some much tastier then them as a meal. At least he's asleep. That's much better then hurting himself tearing this place apart.
=========================================
Bahamut motioned for Zotasu to take a seat in any of the many chairs in the library. "First let's make this easier on you. I understand you are having a hard time with our language. Hold still for one moment." Bahamut's hands glowed a soft white as he cast a spell on Zotasu. "You should be able to understand me a lot better now." ((Bahamut cast a version of Comprehend Languages on Zotasu. It's not permanent, but will get him through this.))
"Now then. I am sure you are full of questions young one. I can start by answering the first question you asked. Am I Rhinli's father. As I said in a way. My name is Bahamut. I am the father of all dragon kind. I'm a god if you will. The form before you is not my true form. It's just easier to get around with all you little ones like this them to be at my normal size. That and cooking is much easier with hands like these."
"Rhinli's been here about 4 years now. Her parents were killed by neighboring red dragons as I said earlier. But she doesn't hold a grudge towards all red dragons. That alone is more than I could ask of her. As I hope you do not hold a grudge against all humans for the few who destroyed the life you knew."
"Why are you here. I am sure that is a question on your mind. You are here because you are still innocent and did not deserve the fate that the humans were going to give you. I've been keeping a watchful eye on all the wyrmlings around the world. There are a few other dragons helping me with this matter, even though I am a god, I cannot be everywhere at once."
"The world has changed much since the races were made. Even the gods themselves have changed. What was supposed to be a plan of a Utopia quickly became just another world. God's began to fight amongst themselves and their races fought against each other as a result. Pride corrupted some of the kindest hearts out there."
"It pains me to watch over and see what is going on down there. Constant fighting amongst the races. Even amongst other members of their own races. Such as all of us here. Many of their parents fought against each other and killed each other over petty things. It has to stop."
"I should stop depressing you with these matters as they are not yours to worry about yet. Sorry. Please feel free to ask me any questions that are on your mind." Bahamut smiled gently at Zotasu and waited for his response.
Dr. Salem
Alec quickly stated into his meal without answering her question. He tore apart several tentacles from a squid and shook it left and right either in a tempt to play with his meal or tear it apart some more. Alec had slurped it up like a string of spaghetti which resulted in a bloody mess on his face.
Alec started to wander around the room as he had finished the rest of his meal. He started trying to find a good spot nearby to wait for Bahamut's meeting with the new dragon. He grew bored and peaked in his study due to his curiosity.
Durandal
Zotasu had noticed the element of pain in Bahamut's voice, and his own heart ached with grief. Sadness for his parents he had suppressed in order to survive began to return, and Zotasu sniffled quietly. "I am wanting to help," he said determinedly when Bahamut had finished talking. "Am I... can help you? For peace… and know- learn Draconic. Can I do this things, please?”
He paused as his ears picked up a slight sound, very faint, coming from behind him. He turned slightly and spotted a topaz dragon out of the corner of his eye. It was being very stealthy, but Zotasu had learned to notice such things. It was either that or get caught or worse. Unsure of what to make of the intrusions, Zotasu looked at Bahamut and decided to wait and see if the dragon god answered his questions or dealt with the topaz dragon instead.
ginpu
"It pleases me that you are willing to help." Bahamut smiled. "And yes, we will get you up to speed on speaking the languages, especially draconic. You will need it."
Bahamut noticed the movement of Zotasu's ear frill. Although he noticed Alec out there he chose to remain quiet.
Everyone's attention was piqued when the chime from the reception room range for a second time this morning. "Well, that's odd. I wasn't expecting another visitor so soon this morning. Shall we go see who it is, Zotasu and Alec?" he asked as he got himself up from the chair.
===========================================
((I guess I need to better explain. Alec has Move Silently as a skill, this skill is increased due to his Stealthy feat. Zotasu has the Alertness feat, which increases Listen and Spot. However, Z doesn't have Listen as a listed skill. I'll try and put this in numbers.
Alec - Move Silently (2) + Stealthy feat (2) = Very quiet moving (4)
Zotasu - untrained Listen (1) + Alertness (2) = Not higher than Alec's action (3)
Course in a regular game, those numbers would be a little different and a D20 (20 sided dice) would be rolled. That number would be added to the ranks of skill and the bonuses from the feat and the two totals would be compared.
So, it is still possible for Zotasu to hear Alec. Especially since Alec never said he was being sneaky. I hope that made some sense. LOL ))
Durandal
((Thanks for the explanation, Gin. I messed up. ))
Zotasu got up, suddenly excited. "Yes, we hurry. Uh... Rhinli is first, not good for... 'visitor'," he blurted out, thinking of his own greeting upon arriving. Then again, he did want to see her again, and perhaps on the way he'd be able to meet- what had Bahamut called him? Alec, that was it.
Trying to stay out of Bahamut's way, Zotasu scooted out the door and paused to look at Alec. "My name, Zotasu. You, Alec. Hello," he nodded to the topaz dragon.
Dr. Salem
((Well, durandal said I tried being stealthy. SO I was being stealthy I guess... even though I didn't try to.))
Alec stared back Zotasu. "You, shut up. Kiss my topaz ass. I go now to other new guy." He mocked him, waiting for the right moment to get both Zotasu and the other new dragon.
(Sorry if I'm not allowed to insult him like that, just trying to be mean as possible)
Durandal
((That was just Zotasu's assumption; his interpretation of what he observed. It wasn't necessarily true.))
Zotasu blinked with confusion and looked up at Bahamut questioningly before responding to Alec’s retreating form. “I am… apology. I don’t want you be mad.” Instead of attempting to catch up and push his luck Zotasu turned to Bahamut with dismay in his eyes.
“Am I- was offense to him? I don’t know what… why- he mad,” he shook his head. It occurred to him that dragons might react differently to the way he was used to conversing with other beings, or perhaps he had made some mistake and had phrased his greeting wrong.
ginpu
((I think that was more cranky than mean. Bratty even, wait just flat out rude. I know Dur said you were stealthing, but you didn't say you were, so you weren't. No big deal, we learn. This is the first RP I am doing here anyways.))
===========================================
Bahamut turned around quickly and stared down at Alec. Alec was familiar with this look as he had seen it many times. He knew it meant that Bahamut did not approve of his behavior. "Alec... you need to learn to interact with others better. Zotasu was being friendly. You are being rude." He turned to continue down the hallway towards the reception room. He stopped for a moment and looked to Zotasu. "Rhinli answers the door only when I know it's a wyrmling waiting. She enjoys greeting them. But when I don't know who's there, I don't allow her to do that. I get all types of visitors. I won't risk her safety or any of the rest of you. Now then, shall we?" Bahamut continues down the hall way to the reception door.
===========================================
((Dur and Salem, feel free to fight with each other down the hallway. I am off to Karate, will be back afterwards. Figure between 7 & 8 est.))
Dr. Salem
(Rude, bratty, it's all Alec)
Alec rolled his eyes and followed behind them, his curiosity still unsatisfied. I'll interact better when I want to, right now I just want to spit in this guys face. His foot steps were awkward, swinging each leg left and right and tapping Zotasu many times. "If the Old Man dies checking the door, we die too from starvation or whatever. It doesn't matter who checks the door."
BlackBlade
*Kalm woke up and yawned, exhaling a cloud of smoke that had a sulfur like smell to it. The chair was conformable but it was too cool (as in cold) for him to sleep well on. He thought about lighting the chair on fire, but deiced against it. Instead he flew over and landed wear the sun was shining on the floor, it was warm there, and he feel back asleep. He dreamed about the past couple of days and how his parents fought.
((If Alec is rude and bratty, I hate to see what you say about Kalm (Remember I went for irony with his name.) ))
ginpu
((Children Maybe I should have asked you all to be gentle. This is my first time... ok I lied.))
================================================
Bahamut reached the door and came to a stop. "Stand back a moment children," he said. He spoke a few words in a language neither of the wyrmlings knew and the door opened. Bahamut looked back at the two dragons. "Alec, if I could be killed that easily, don't you think that would have happened hundreds of thousands of years ago?" He smirked at Alec. "Come through." He motioned for them to follow.
After the three walked through the door it closed up. Bahamut headed toward the room, changing shape to that of a male elf with white hair and silver eyes, with properly matching elven clothes. As he approached the reception room, he immediately caught the smell of the red wyrmling, and the smell of an old friend.
"Ah! Nym, so nice to see you again. It's been how many years old friend?" he said to Nym. "Two...too many," Nym replied. Bahamut chuckled at Nym's attempt of humor. "You need to spend more time with the coppers. I would ask what brings you here, but I can already smell why. I shall introduce you to the wyrmlings following me. This is Alec. He's a bit of a smartalec. Quite the handful he is. But he is still very young. Alec has been here pretty much his entire life."
Pointing to the emerald dragon. "This one here is Zotasu. I brought him in just this morning. He's still adjusting. His past like many of the others is tragic. Let's sit and talk." Bahamut went and picked his most comfortable chair and sat down in it. Nym sat down in another chair facing Bahamut. Just as Bahamut was to speak Nym interrupted him. "Please don't disturb Kalm right now. He's lost everything just this morning."
"Sorry old friend. Now then you were about to say something?" Nym asked. "Yes. Please tell me what's brought you and the little one here today," Bahamut requested. "Very well. As you know there was a particular pair of red dragons causing great havoc near the Great Dale. They were charming villagers to sacrifice each other to satisfy their hunger. They killed many of my family. We've put together a plan that took 5 years to complete. The silvers and I, we banded together and we asked the humans for help. We formed a force and trained several strategies to remove the reds. We even requested a spiked felldrake's help as we wanted to make sure nothing was missed. This morning our years of planning took place. The red couple was completely taken off guard by the attack and did not have the power to turn the tides in their favor. They were slain. We were all relieved but then the felldrake still smelled the scent of a living red. He led me to a vase that had this little guy hiding inside of it."
"I did not know that they had hatched a child in the years we planned this out. Reds are very good at keeping their children a secret from the rest of the world. All the humans wanted his death, even some silvers. I refused to allow that to happen. He's innocent as far as we can tell and does not deserve such a fate."
"I brought him here and hope with your help that he grows and reaches his adult hood. If I had only know of his existence, I would have called off the attack. There is no reason a child should witness his parent's death. This weighs heavily on my heart." Some tears began to fall from Nym's eyes.
"I know it does old friend. I am glad you did bring him here instead of allowing the unfair judgment to be passed on him. I'll take him in. See what I can do to make things as comfortable as possible for him. Perhaps in time he can forgive the misdeeds, though, it will be a difficult task," Bahamut said. "So about how old do you think he is? 2? 3? And his name again?"
"He's around 3 years old. And his name is Kalm. He's used to eating human. Hopefully an alternative can be found," Nym said. "I must leave now. Shriah expects me home soon. Can't keep her waiting forever." He smiled at Bahamut.
"Aye, certainly not. Very well. Until we meet again." Bahamut and Nym embraced arms and nodded. With a few quiet words and a puff of smoke Nym was gone.
"So now... we have a new member of the family. What should we do with him fellas?" Bahamut asked the two wyrmlings as he shifted back into the dragonkin form.
===============================================
((Yes we have a smartAlec and an ironic Kalm, but I give you fair warning now. Refuse to work with everyone else and you will be left out of the campaign. ))
Dr. Salem
(He can work with people, it's just difficult with Alec.)
Alec cracked his neck and laid down on the floor in a lazy fashion. "Throw him in some cold water, he'll love it." He yawned. "He sounds a lot less boring than this fellow though. Is every dragon in the world an orphan? I lost count after the seven-millionth to come after me." His claw pointed at Zotasu and complained.
Durandal
"I no am boring. I say... give him pounces! Hahahaha. Rhinli is where when we are need her?" Zotasu chuckled at his joke. He looked sideways at Alec to see if he found it funny. His look said otherwise.
"Ah, no... is stupid. I not, uh, not mean it." Zotasu felt the flush of embarrassment, coupled with annoyance, both at himself and Alec. He couldn't help but wondering what warranted this rudeness.
Dr. Salem
Alec sighed with annoyance and then laid his head on the ground. "That's not my idea of fun, fun is doing all sorts of things to a person that can set them off." He raised his tail in an attempt to whack one of Zotasu's legs
BlackBlade
*Kalm didn't even notice the others enter the room, he only woke up once he caught the smell of smoke left by Nym. He hoped everything that happened was a dream, but it was apparent that it wasn't. You couldn't tell that his eyes were open do to the fact they where the same scarlet red as his scales and his pulps were constricted in the sun light. It took a few seconds to comprehend what Alec said.* "You mean like this?" *Kalm then blew a cloud of smoke in to Alec's face who was right in front of him. Then he stood up and put up his frill which till this point had been down. There was a section of frill about mid-way down his back that had been clearly bitten off by one of his parents at an even younger age.* "Hello, I'm Kalm." *This was the polite introduction that his parents had taught him.*
ginpu
"I don't need to lecture you anymore Alec. Let's head back in. Not many reds pass through here. He's going to be a handful. Yes Alec, worse than you." Bahamut stuck his tongue out at Alec.
============================================
Back in the banquet hall, Rhinli was really getting into it with the other coppers. Constantly playing one up on each other with the jokes. Eventually one of the younger coppers got flustered and upset because he couldn't outwit her. He walked away upset.
Dr. Salem
Alec gave large sneeze-like breath as the smoke touched his face. "That little brat, I'm gonna give him such a handful he'll regret blowing smoke at me." He coughed as his eyes stared down the now leaving Kalm and went through the door..
ginpu
((I missed BB's post somehow, but just edited mine.))
Bahamut looked at the two wyrmlings and there escapades. "Alec, Zotasu go to the door, it will open for you. I will be back in shortly. Zotasu, try and socialize with the others. I know Alec may seem to be a pain, but most of them are very friendly."
"Now as for you, Kalm, do you know why you were brought here? Did Nym tell you anything?" Bahamut asked.
Durandal
Zotasu had noticed Alec’s swing for his legs and had dodged it accordingly. His eyes had narrowed as he glared at the topaz dragon, but then he started laughing when Kalm blew him a face full of smoke. To each his just rewards.
After Bahamut had told them to head back, Zotasu nodded but grimaced all the same. He didn’t trust Alec, not one bit. And the possibility of other dragons that might be the same way made him just want to crawl up and not have anything to do with any of them. All the same, he didn’t want to disobey Bahamut, so he followed Alec through the door, careful to keep a safe distance between them.
BlackBlade
*Kalm looked at Bahamut* "Well let's see... My parents were slain, I know I saw it happen. The humans wanted to kill me, Nym told them that I could be reformed. Then I'm here, so I'm guessing I'm here to be reformed." *Kalm sighs* "All in all today pretty much sucked." *Kalm slumped to the ground the events of the day finally taking their toll on the young dragon.*
Dr. Salem
Alec looked back to Zotasu. "Wow, you really are boring. Don't worry about me, I've seen that your useless to bug. The true pray is that red dragon with Bahamut. Rhinli looks like she's having fun." His eyes turned to Rhinli playing with the other dragon's. "She'll help you with stuff. You said you're already friends with her."
ginpu
"Seems you don't know much then. But we can have time for that later. Let's get you inside and to a place of rest." Bahamut picked up the little red dragon and passed through the door. As they approached the study/library Bahamut entered it with Kalm.
"This should be warm enough for you," he said as he snapped his fingers and the fireplace lit up. "Now for something comfortable."Bahamut pulled out a rather large box, in comparison for Kalm's size. Inside the box were coins and gems of every color and value.
"Rest on here, in this room. I will check back in on you in a few hours. Perhaps we can talk then," Bahamut placed Kalm on top of the treasure in the box. He then walked to the doorway and cast a spell on the entrance so they Kalm would not be disturbed while he rested.
Bahamut walked towards the banquet hall to see what the others have been up to.
((I would try and stay up longer, but my drugs are kicking my ass, and I have to be at work bright and early tomorrow. ))
Durandal
"I not sayed she was friend," Zotasu hastily corrected Alec. He wasn't ready to say he was friends with anyone here... yet. "She just was nice... you- not nice." He eyed Alec warily. "I go now."
With that he headed over to Rhinli's direction, hoping Alec wouldn't follow. On the way he passed an upset-looking copper dragon and momentarily wondered what was wrong. But he only shrugged and kept going.
Not wanting to disturb the game Rhinli and the other dragons were playing, Zotasu just stood quietly to the side and attempted to listen in.
((Okay, g'night Ginpu. Remember don't RP under the influence... it's against the law! ))
BlackBlade
*Kalm looked at the coins and gems it wasn't home but it was close. He fell asleep to the crackling of the fire place.*
((I'm calling it a night soon))
ginpu
((All dragons love coins and gems. They make wonderful beds...somehow...just the thought is giving me a stiff neck. Some have a greater liking for other treasure but coins and gems, you can't go wrong with.))
=============================================
Rhinli noticed Zotasu had returned and finished up her punch-line. "So the moon-elf says, 'Don't forget your krenshar!'" The copper dragons fell back and started laughing hysterically. "You win Rhinli. But just for today," said an older looking copper. The coppers said good-bye to each other and went their separate ways.
"Hiya Zotasu! What's up? You get to talk to Papa yet? And who was at the door? I know the chime was one I wasn't allowed to answer, so I am a bit curious about who visited," she said with a toothy grin.
Durandal
Zotasu nodded and smiled minutely. "Yes, we talk. He is nice and I want help him. But Alec... not nice," he said with a grimace that quickly faded when he thought about his face-full of smoke. "Uh, 'chime' is new dragon. New... uh, I not know sure. Was a Bahamut friend with dragon. Speaking fast and I don't know all they sayed." He shuffled on his feet restlessly. "Was sad. Lots of sad."
((Sorry it's short. Lights have already flickered.))
ginpu
((Send some of that weather south. we needs teh rain!))
"Oh? Another new dragon? That's odd. Usually there aren't 2 in a day. What color is the new dragon?" Rhinli asked excitedly.
Durandal
Zotasu looked at her with a peculiar expression on his face. "Uh..." His mind raced but he couldn't remember the Draconic words for colors. He'd never used them so he hadn't needed them at all. His eyes traced over the hall as he searched for something. Evidentally he found it, because he suddenly began walking away from Rhinli without another word.
On the other side of the hall he stopped next to a red dragon who was already a guest at Bahamut's estate. He pointed to the dragon and looked back to see if Rhinli understood.
((I'm leaving whether or not Rhinli followed him up to you. And with that I'm shutting down the computer. Hopefully I'll be back soon if the rain stops. And no, I'm not sharing. ))
ginpu
((Much H8 4 U now.))
Rhinli looked at the red dragon and then back at Zotesu. "Oh, a red dragon. Wow. Been a while since any new ones have been brought here." She said somewhat excitedly. "Well look at that Xaviet, another one like you has arrived," she flashed Xaviet a grin. His eyes widened with curiosity for a moment then his expression changed to a scowl. "Great and his attitude probably sucks like the rest of the reds I've met," Xaviet said. "Hopefully Papa can help him to be more like you," Rhinli responded. "Hopefully. There are so few like me. Though I kinda like being the one of the very few. Gives me... an advantage," he responded with a devious look in his eyes. Rhinli couldn't help but to laugh at his expression.
Xaviet was a rather good natured red dragon. He was rescued from his parents when he was less than a month old. Apparently his parents felt he was too weak and were just going to let his siblings eat him rather then deal with raising such a weak youth.
Dr. Salem
Alec watched the others in their conversation, bored out of his mind, he decided to walk over to them.
"That Red Dragon blew a puff of smoke into my face. He's going down once he sleeps in the regular quarters, just wait. I'll put a fish head in his bed just like that one story Bahamut told is... the God Mother... Good Father... something?
ginpu
Xaviet's eyes widened. "Oh really?" Rhinli was quick to notice the change of expression in Xaviet's voice. She quickly backed up as she knew what was going to happen.
"Listen Alec, they may not be as nice as me, but they are still my brethren. I wouldn't do that if you know what's good for you," Xaviet gave Alec an evil glare. "Oh and one more thing." Xaviet blew a puff of smoke into Alec's face. "I expected you would have wizened up by now with all the times you've gotten in trouble for doing these sorts of things." Xaviet continued to glare at Alec.
=======================================
Little more history of Xaviet. He's been around with Bahamut for 10 years at least. He has an extremely calm disposition for a red dragon. He may detest his own kind, especially given the circumstances of his arrival here, but he will still defend them as a part of him tells him it is the right thing to do. This part is most likely the lawful influence of Bahamut, and not his red chaotic nature.
Dr. Salem
Alec coughed a storm before finally falling over to his side. "Shark heads for all Red Dragons in their beds!" He yelled out in anger, loud enough for all of the red dragons in the room to hear.
"Oh crap."
ginpu
Xaviet moved closer towards Alec, never changing his glare. Rhinli noticed that the other 2 reds also were closing in on Alec.
((Yes, there's only like 4 total including Kalm, red dragons rarely are saved, they are usually killed instead since they are likely to continue the reign of terror their parents created.))
Her eyes widened. She knew there wasn't much she could do to save Alec's ass this time. She had to think quick. The 3 reds were older and stronger than Alec and herself. She slid herself in from of Xaviet. "Xaviet, don't. You know Papa will get upset. Maybe there's another way to handle this?" Xaviet glanced down at the little copper dragon. Raising an eyebrow, "And what would that be?" Rhinli motioned for Xaviet to lower his head so she could whisper him her idea. Xaviet's scowl turned blank with wide eyes, followed by an evil smirk. "Yes, that is quite an entertaining alternative," he responded. "Shriack and Mondesta, hold back. We have other plans for our dear friend Alec here," he said with a wicked smile.
Rhinli backed away and said to Alec as she walked past him, "Trust me, this is a lot better than getting your ass beat severely for you stupidity."
Xaviet stood before Alec, while the other two stood on his sides. The ones at Alec's side grabbed a front leg each, while Xaviet stared directly into Alec's eyes. "Well then. Let's rectify this sharkheads in all our beds issue, shall we?" The two reds dragging Alec followed after Xaviet as they walked down a hall way to the left of the banquet hall.
((If I told you every aspect of this wonderful mansion, what fun would it be? ))
Durandal
Zotasu watched the whole event with amusement. Alec didn't strike him as the intelligent type, and he was only digging himself deeper and deeper into trouble. He turned curiously to Rhinli as she walked past Alec. "What you told they do?" he asked in a stage whisper. Personally he would have preferred to see Alec beaten to a pulp. Maybe that would finally teach him a lesson.
ginpu
"Who me?" She said pointing to herself and blinking. "Nothing he can't handle. I've spent a lot of time with Papa and know the strengths and weaknesses of the other dragon types here. It's nothing Alec can't handle and hopefully he will realize that there are some dragons out here who know how to be nice. If anything, I've done him a favor. Let's hope he realizes it before Xaviet does."
"Now, I need to go get ahold of a few bronzes. I'll need their help to speak to the sharks. Follow if you would like to know more," she said as she galloped back into the banquet hall and straight to the bronze whelps.
Dr. Salem
Alec struggled trying to get his legs free from the dragon's pulling him. "Let me go! They were empty threats! How the hell would I get Shark Heads? I don't even know what story it's from!" He cried clawing the floor in a panic to get some grip.
"I'm a little Wyrmling, STOP!" Alec yelped some more, pulling his legs with his claws.
Spirit Wolf
Gale finds himself in the reception room. Huh? Where am I? What's going on around here? He starts looking around, trying to get his berrings. Hello? Anybody here?
Durandal
Zotasu followed Rhinli, but he couldn't help wondering why he did so. He didn't really care what happened to Alec, only his curiousity had compelled him to ask. Alec had been rude to him and it fitted that he get punished for it, but beyond that Zotasu figured it wasn't any of his business.
On the other hand, he didn't have anything else he wanted to do and since it appeared he was stuck here, he might as well try to act as though he was cooperating with the other dragons. That way they would be less likely to turn on him in the future. And so he ran ofter Rhinli to see what she had in mind for Alec.
ginpu
Xaviet snapped his head back and glared right at Alec. "Why, we are going to show you where to get shark heads from," he said with a wicked grin. The other reds adjusted their grip on Alec, holding him tighter. Xaviet then turned and continued to lead them further down the hall. The scent of the sea was becoming more and more noticeable.
==========================================
Rhinli was in a race against time, but she was sure she could pull this off in time. She crashed into the banquet hall and skidded to a halt in front of the bronzes. "Oh for the love of god Rhinli, now what?" One of the older female bronzes said. "Detrixia, I need your help, and fast." "My help," said the bronze. "Yes Detrixia, you owe me anyways." Detrixia scowled. "Very well then. What do you need?" "Xaviet and the other reds are going to throw Alec into the sea on a fishing line because he threatened to put shark heads in their beds." "He what?" Detrixia said in surprise. "I know he's done some stupid things but..." "Time is limited Dee. I need you to tell the sharks not to harm him. Please?" Rhinli pleaded at Dee with puppy dog eyes. "Fine. Stop it with those eyes.""Yay!" Rhinli screamed. "Follow me, we'll head down the the observatory area where they won't see us." She headed off to get there quickly. Rhinli followed. "Will Alec be ok being dunked in the water that many times?" "Oh he should be fine, unless he forgets he's capable of breathing under water," Rhinli snickered.
============================================
The reds and Alec reached the end of the hallway. Before them spread a gigantic sea that was teeming with life. You could see dolphins jumping about, the massive tails of whales far away. As they reached the dock, they came to a stop. "Ok you two. Hold him still. We need to secure the bait, er um Alec so that he doesn't get away."
The reds held Alec firmly as Xaviet wrapped docking rope tightly around Alec. "Good. Do you have anything else to say Alec?" before Alec could respond Xaviet interupted him and said, "Good." The 2 reds carried Alec to the end of the pier and then took flight to drop him further out into the water. Xaviet held onto the other end of the rope so as to tug Alec as needed. The 2 reds dropped him into the sea and went back to the pier and watched in amusement.
===========================================
Down below in the observatory, Rhinli watched as Alec was dropped into the water. "Wow, they bound him up good. I didn't expect that," she said with wide eyes. She turned to see that Dee was already working on talking to the wildlife to let them know what to do.
Spirit Wolf
When no one answered he decided to look around. He takes one step before falling to the ground. Ow, damn giants. He checks himself. His hindleg is at least cracked, he has several cuts, and some bruises. That's going to hurt in the morning. He starts licking his cuts.
ginpu
((Ok work crap done.))
"Does that taste good?" a voice asked as Gale licked his foot. "You are bound to get sicker if you do that. Let's have a look, shall we?"
Before Gale stood a dragonkin about 8 foot in height. The scales were platinum in color, white hair was tied back in a pony tail. His clothing was simple and mostly white. There was a feeling of calm and peace that emanated from the dragonkin.
((Do I have to tell you all about what the room looks like again? Or will you just go back to BB and Dur's posts?))
Dr. Salem
Alec mumbled in panic as he submerged into the sea, gurgling in the salt water. He tried biting off the rope secured around him, but failed. He grasped the rope trying to pull himself up but dropped back into the water. Alec grew tired and started to calm down and tried to relax his muscles, floating in his element.
ginpu
As Alec sank down into the sea he could see several sharks of all sizes and types approaching him. Whale sharks, Basking sharks, Great Whites, Makos, Hammerheads, Megladons, Lemons, Tigers and even Nurse sharks. Many of them swam by him and around him, bumping against him now and again.
Above the water Xaviet watched as the sharks circled and bumped Alec, but didn't harm him. As he watched he smiled in amusement. Rhinli was right, this is better than hurting him, he thought.
Below in the observatory Rhinli watched as the sharks got close to Alec and bump him around. She looked over at De who was giving the sharks hand signals of what to do while telling them no biting. "Wish I could talk to the animals like that," she said as she continued to watch.
((and no, Alec does not see them in the observatory. Water breathing does not mean water seeing/vision as well. ))
Dr. Salem
Alec squirmed around as sharks continued to bug him. "Leave me alone you stupid sharks!" He gargled in the water and attempted swimming around in circles to break the rope. Bubbles formed at each of his movements,
ginpu
About 8 minutes later... "Alright guys, let's pull him up. Hopefully he's learned something...hopefully." Xaviet said. The three red dragons pulled on the rope to remove Alec from the water.
============================================
Down below Rhinli watched as Alec began to rise from the water. "Hey De, after the sharks go away, think you can have the whale shark stick around for a moment?" De looked at Rhinli somewhat confused. "But the whale is the harmless.""Exactly. Not sure if Alec know that though. Just have it gum him tail as he approaches the surface and give a nice tug." Rhinli grinned. "You know girl, sometimes I wonder just how good you really are," De said. "Good is in the eye of the beholder," Rhinli said as she stuck her tongue out at De. "Very well then." De went back to hand signaling and talking to the sharks.
============================================
As the reds were pulling Alec to the surface they saw a dark shadow rising below Alec rather quickly. "Crap!"Xaviet yelled. "We need to get him out now!" The three reds took flight pulling up the rope as quickly as possible. Just as they got him out of the water the dark shadow emerged from the water and grabbed ahold of Alec's tail, pulling him back down and the 3 red dragons with it.
Once they hit the water the shark released Alec and swam away. The 3 red dragons scurried for the dock, climbing themselves up and pulling Alec out with them.
============================================
Rhinli fell over in laughter. "Did you see the look on their faces when they saw the big shark and then as they hit the water? Ho hahahaha!" De just looked at Rhinli, not being sure just how funny this really was.
Dr. Salem
Alec's eyes burned with anger, his mouth scrunched and water fell of his scales. He swat at one red dragon as they pulled him out, missing him completely. "I'm not a toy you dangle from a rope!" He spat out some water and burped out a fish bone he chewed up yesterday.
BlackBlade
((Thanks, I now Finding Nemo stuck in my head. "Gill: From this moment on, you shall now be known as Sharkbait"))
*Kalm woke up, a little stiff, but feeling more relaxed. he picked up a large gold coin and looked at, it was a human gold coin. "We use to get one or two of these with every meal." *Kalm smiled but it was quickly replace with the look of grief and loneliness. Kalm walked over to the door and tried to open it but it was locked and would not budge an inch.* "Great now I'm trapped in here." *He flew around a bit to stretch his wings. he landed in front of the fire place and watch the flames dace around. Mabye it was the fact he is red but looking into fire always put his mind at ease.*
ginpu
Xaviet stared at Alec. "You know, we can always knock you back in and leave you there. Tied up." His eyes slanted to an evil grin.
=============================================
As Kalm stared at the fire, the door behind him opened up on its own.
=============================================
"Thanks again De. Looks like I should go back up before they suspect something," Rhinli said. "Remember girl, we are even now," De stuck her tongue out at Rhinli and followed her back to the banquet hall.
((The door was closed to keep the other dragons from disturbing Kalm. Guess I should have mentioned the contingency that it would open when he woke up. hehe I have to go shopping, I will be back later. At this point everyone is free to interact with each other, Gale aside, but I think GH is away from an internet connection right now and Durandal's at karate till 9:30pm est))
BlackBlade
*Kalm turned around when the flames flickered at the new source of air, he saw that the door had opened. He got up and walked through it. He saw different kinds of dragons playing but no reds. Then he looked for the Topaz dragon that he had blown the smoke at, but no sign of him ether. He felt alone and out of place here. He stayed off to one side of the room watching the other dragons.*
Spirit Wolf
Gale looked up. He examins the new comer for a few seconds before talking. You're Bahamut. I've read about you. I'm just licking them clean, though some help would be nice.
ginpu
Rhinli bade De a farewell and a great thanks and proceeded to head back towards the hall. She knew there was another red dragon waiting and was hoping to catch a glance of him.
Bahamut had a habit of letting tired new arrivals sleep in the study. No big deal, except he always put up a ward on the door that wouldn't go away until the new dragon was fully awake. Rhinli had discovered this on several attempts as she would try different ways to sneak in and great the new comer just to be thwarted by the ward. Her most painful memories were walking on the ceiling thinking the ward only went so high. She was sadly mistaken. Not only could she not get through, but it canceled her spider climb sending her to the floor.
As Rhinli trotted out of the banquet hall and headed towards the study she caught a red glint out the corner of her eye. She turned to see what was there.
"Oh! You must be the red Alec and Zotasu were telling me about. I see you are awake now. That's good, now I don't have to fight with that spell to come say hi," she flashed a toothy grin. "Right, proper introductions. Hi, my name is Rhinli," she said as she performed a semi bow.
ginpu
((Oh well, it's not really a double post when the story teller is talking, right?))
"Your guess would be correct. I am Bahamut. I see your adoptive parents taught you well and encouraged you. That's always a good thing to see." He smiled warmly. "Now let's have a look at that leg and the few wounds and see what we can do to make them better."
Bahamut came closer to Gale and sat down on the floor next to him. He looked at Gale's foot and ran his hand above it, never touching it. Gale could feel warmth in his leg. "This might feel a bit odd. The feeling of bone and tendons moving around, but you should feel no pain. Just kinda...squirmy." Bahamut held his hand above the leg a bit longer till he was sure it was healed. He checked over the rest of Gale, noting the bruises and cuts and cast a quick cure wounds on him.
"There, everything should be better now. Well physically anyways. You should be able to walk now. Let's head inside and to the study so we can sit down and talk a bit first. Before Rhinli and the others find you," he chuckled and motioned for Gale to follow him through the door.
Dr. Salem
Alec shook his head. "Never mind, I want to go back in if you'll kindly untie me please. You big lummox. . He grumbled. "You've made your point but understand that I atleast need Payback against Kalm. You of all Dragon's should understand this, I'll probably just uhh... splash a bucket of cold water at him."
ginpu
Xaviet stares at Alec. "I haven't met Kalm yet, but I won't be untieing you since you've learned nothing, and continue to make threats. Be thankful I don't toss you back in. No one is telling the sharks not to bite you now." The other 2 reds headed back inside. "Why should I understand payback? It's not worth the effort for a few seconds of joy when so much more can usually be accomplished by speaking instead? Do not think you know me," he growled.
An expression of sympathy washed over his face. "I honestly don't know what its going to take to make you realize your actions are only causing you further grief then if you would just talk, preferably nicely, instead." Xaviet walked up to Alec who was still bound and laying there.
"If I leave you bound, Rhinli will never let me live it down. Be happy that even with as much of an ass that you are, at least someone is still always looking out for you." Xaviet picked up Alec and straightened him out. He then quickly and in bursts breathed on the rope to burn it down loose enough that he could easily snap Alec free of it.
"Out there, beyond here, others aren't so nice and forgiving. Especially those of my color." he turned and left Alec on the pier with the smoldering rope near him.
Spirit Wolf
Gale raises an eyebrow, but gets up and follows. So then, I'm no expert, but I don't think I'm dead. And I was almost certainly not captured by the ice giants, unless they were working for you. So I have to ask, where am I and why am I here?
BlackBlade
*Kalm looked at the Copper Dragon* "And I'm Kalm, yeah I'm new here." *He looked down at the ground* "My parents were killed today, by attacking Slivers and humans. They almost killed me but one Sliver by the name of Nym, saved me and brought me here." He clawed at the ground* "So what is there to do around here? I mean beside sleeping and messing with that Topaz." *He laughed at the face Alec made when the smoke hit him in the face.*
ginpu
"You are correct, you aren't dead. If you were dead those wounds wouldn't have bothered you at all. You were captured by the FROST giants. And no, they weren't working for me. If anything they may have been working with your birth parents. It's not uncommon for whites and frost giants to work together. Often their goals are to kill crystals, like you adoptive parents." Bahamut pauses for a moment in speech while he continues walking.
"Why are you here. If you'd like I could always send you back," he chuckles. "But I wouldn't do that. Your fate would be far worse than you can imagine. You are here because I brought you here. I watch over all the dragons, even those who worship Tiamat. I have some earthbound dragons watching over as well in case I do miss something."
"Where you are is my home. A sanctuary if you will, for all orphaned dragons. Yes, all. Metallic, chromatic and gem. All are under this roof and under my care. You've done nothing wrong to warrant you becoming a slave to the giants."
"Once upon a time, all the dragons and all the world got along, peacefully. I am sure you know most the story, how parts of the world became corrupt and their influence spread, even over a race as mighty as ours. The corruption is spreading at an unbelievable rate. Something needs to be done about it, and I think that only the children have the answer and the ability to help this."
"But I wish to not burden you with such things at the moment. So tell me, are you hungry?"
Dr. Salem
"Ugh, fine I guess. I won't get payback with the little bugger. More than likely we'll just argue a lot or contest each other a lot." Alec sighed, realizing that aggression would get him nowhere with Xaviet. "I'm fully aware of the harshness of the real world, but I just want to have my fun now before I have to wise up."
Spirit Wolf
No, I'm not hungry. His stomach growls rather loudly. Heh, ok, maybe just a little bit. He pauses for a little as he thinks on what he said. Hey, with such a big place, I'm sure you have a study with books. May I see it? Unless we're not allowed in there, of course. He looks down, slightly embarrased.
ginpu
"Nym... Nym... I've heard of him, but never seen him before. I believe he's one of Papa's friends that help him when he can't be there. Fun? That all depends on the kind of fun you're looking for," she laughs. "That topaz? Ah. You mean Alec. Yes... Xaviet and 2 other reds were going to have a little fun with him," she snickers. "I just wish he would learn to stop being such a brat and so rude," she sighs.
"Well, tell me what fun is for you and I'll tell you if its an option here," she smiled.
================================================
Xaviet looks at Alec. "Fun now? There will always be time for fun. Well, if the aggression between our colors would die down, we could all have fun out in the world. I know Bahamut has a plan that requires us, the orphaned children. I know it has something to do with bringing a peace between the colors, and hopefully to the rest of the world. He has a wonderful idea, I would like to be part of making it real." Xaviet looks thoughtful for a moment, "If it wasn't possible, I don't think you would still be alive right now, nor would Rhinli. Well, let's go back now. Together or separately its your choice," he said as he headed back to the banquet hall.
==============================================
"You are welcome to see the study anytime. It's right here on our right," Bahamut points to the door on the right. "Oh? Looks like Kalm is awake. The only time you have to be careful about the study is when there is a new arrival. Many of them arrive here much younger than you are, they are usually tired and a nervous wreck. The study has a calming effect, and it usually helps them out. For example, Kalm. He was brought in this morning by an old friend. My friend regretted the fate he and the others had put forth on Kalm. They had taken his parents early this morning. His parents caused nothing but grief and terror to the silver dragons and humans alike.."
"The plan was created over 5 years time. When red dragons have children, they are very very secretive about it. The silvers didn't know that 2 years into their planning, the Kalm came into existence. Of all the metallic dragons, silvers take this very hard."
"You'll know if there is a ward up, it gives a slight hum and you can see the rippling magic. I had to put it up because some of our more inquisitive wyrmlings wouldn't let the new arrivals rest before bombarding them."
"Now your stomach tells me you are hungry. You are white, but raised by crystals, so I do not know what it is you have eaten, and what you would like to eat. So tell me, and it will be prepared, as long as it doesn't involve other dragons, humans and elves," Bahamut snickered.
Spirit Wolf
Oh darn, thats my 3 favorite meals. He laughs a little. Truth be told, I'll eat just about anything if I can catch it. I'm none too picky. He looks around a bit more. You said there were others, but I haven't seen anyone yet.
Dr. Salem
"Yeah, yeah, I'm coming. I guess I have to thank Rhinli for now otherwise you'll put me back with the sharks." Alec walked back with Xaviet to the Banquet hall. "Still, Kalm is defiantly going to be the fun one around here. The other red's seemed to ignore me until today... you seem to be the peace keeper around them and keep them in line."
BlackBlade
*Kalm thinks for a moment* "Umm......yeah, I don't think what I did for fun is possible here." *The truth was his parents would give Kalm the humans that they didn't kill right away to mess with. So he quickly tried change the subject* "So what do you do for fun?"
ginpu
"Keep them in line? No, I don't do that alone. Rhinli's been a great help coming up with other options that harm no one and satisfy the insulted. I wouldn't have torn you to shreds, but the other 2 might have. Rhinli interjected her idea to prevent you any physical harm. I personally don't like to harm others. I gain little from it." Xaviet said.
================================================
"Oh pull pranks, make jokes, exchange colorful banter, and try and save other's behinds from what would be a much worse fate," Rhinli smiled. "Others enjoy just plain conversation. Everyone seems to enjoy hunting. Though we usually just hunt stuff our size. Bahamut's gone out of his way to make all of us feel at home here. And like we are all family, regardless of our colors," she smiles. "There's an observatory where you can see what's going on outside or under the sea. There's the dock and pier if you like the water. There's an earth area, for those that love the dirt and other areas. Often times we go outside and do normal kid things. Hide N Seek, Tag, Freeze Tag, Dodge Ball, Chicken... and other games."
Dr. Salem
"Heh, I suppose after the Old Man's plan goes through you're gonna be a scholar or something? The plan thing is something I don't get, he's a god of this planet. He should get everything he wants with a snap of his hands, be it peace or something else and just screw Tiamat." Alec suggested.
ginpu
"Don't worry Gale. You will see plenty more dragons once we get closer to the banquet hall and the several different activity type rooms." Bahamut said as they walked down the hall closer to the banquet hall.
As they neared Kalm and Rhinli Bahamut spoke up. "Afternoon to the both of you. I would like you to meet our newest arrival. This is Gale. Don't let his color fool you though. Crystals raised him, so he's not at all the average white dragon." Bahamut smiled.
"Hiya!" Rhinli said. "Whatcha up to? Kalm and I were talking about having fun."
"We are going to get Gale something to eat. Then we will be back," Bahamut said.
"Ok Papa," responded Rhinli.
"Alright, ahead of us is the banquet hall. Most the whelps are done with breakfast by now, so you can eat somewhat in peace. This is most likely an overwhelming experience for you, so not everyone being here, is quite ideal for you right now. Now let's see... We have some frozen seals, a few more magmin, and some vermin, although I can make anything you want for breakfast," Bahamut smiled.
===============================================
"Io won't allow that. As many other gods of this world. He's allowed to influence, but not directly interfere. When the time comes, I don't know what I will be, but scholar is not likely the choice." Xaviet replied.
===============================================
((ok sorry kiddos. It's bedtime for this old lady. On a side note, IO is the even higher god then Bahamut and Tiamat. He pretty much made them, then they made you.))

-Rein kept running and running. her parents had told her of tales of reaching Bahamut, that she would find the entrance when she needed it most.
There is no set place to find it. It's suppose to comes to you. As Rein ran that was the only thing she could think of after a year of running and fending for herself. as she eventually neared a mountain range. she was drawn towards it's base.
Therein she found the front door, it had draconic symbols and letters surrounding it. she was able to understand it and do what it asked in order to get the door open.-
Humm I really hope this isn't another stupid trap -rubs a scar from a claw mark over her right eye-
-walks into the room allowing for her eyes to adjust as the door shuts tightly behind her-
aww crap a trap. -she launches her body into the door several times with no success in opening it only to get tired from the attempts. she just holds herself off in a corner waiting to see what she just got herself into-

"Whatever, I'll just probably just sleep and eat all the time. I don't really care about anything in the future. Lets just hurry back to everyone else, I'm getting bored just talking." Alec ran ahead into the banquet hall and saw another dragon that had not been here previously. "What's with all the new guys today?"

((I am not sure WHAT Gale is eating since Bahamut last asked him what exactly he wanted...))
"Um...Gale? You really shouldn't eat the chair. They tend to give heartburn due to their magical properties," Bahamut said as he stared at the white. "Stay right there, and stop eating the furniture." Bahamut went over to the freezer and pulled out a frozen seal. He placed it on a platter and brought it before Gale. "Now that should taste a bit better then the furniture.
There is a chime that rings throughout the building. It's different from all the other chimes that have rung today. Bahamut looks up. "Looks like another visitor. I'm going to have to leave you here to go answer the door. If you want more food, it's in that freezer." Bahamut points to a freezer the size of a walk in closet. Bahamut sets out to head towards the hall and to the door.
Rhinli perks up from the chime. Whatever she was saying was halted mid sentence from the sound. "That ones new. OOh! gotta go see what it is." She starts running down the hall way then takes flight flipping herself upside down then running across the ceiling as fast as she could, keeping sure that one foot was always in contact with the ceiling. As she neared the door she spoke a few words and was surprised that the door opened for her.
This filled her with great joy as she zipped through the doorway. Bahamut saw her zip through the doorway before he could stop her. Bahamut began running to the doorway. "Rhinli... she should know better. I am going to have to change the passwords... again." Bahamut took flight as he raced to get to the door before anything happened to Rhinli.
Inside the reception room Rhinli looks around.I know I heard the chimes but who's here? She looks around and finally spots the new arrival. Before she can say anything Bahamut bursts through the door yelling, "Rhinli where are you?!?!??"
