Since the thread is locked and what not, figured I would make a new one to asked a simple question instead of turning the game into both OOC and game. We are into the game 68 pages now.

Are we ever going to gain a level?

Aye, I was thinking about making an OOC thread... but then I realized I didn't care.

Are there any attributes or power limits to increase with a level up?

You guys are about level 16 or something like that. Hmm, 3 skill points each, and 20 points to spend on stats.

There are no stats, there are no skills.

There is no system for either nor did we set up any initial levels.

I would feel best then that I do not proceed in moving Ronald, period, until the question of level up is resolved. There is an ability I should be able to get that will make transporting him much easier. I just need to gain a level to do it.

You are all level 16. Ok? I just don't have stats for you guys. Know what? Screw stats, just act like you're level 16 however you want. everyone gets 5 new skills or powers. Distribute them how you want. Next RP is going to be more organized, I promise.

GH, why not make our transition to level 16ness a bit smoother? Something like once we finally manage to escape the city there's a plot device and the destiny of our group is revealed. When we are informed that it is our duty to overthrow Valter and put an end to his tyrany we are also given new powers and abilities.

That way we can just make any needed character stats distributions then and the storyline won't be screwed up like it is now.

I've been gone all day to a Grad party of a cousin I barely remember... I have a huge family.

I'm screwed with Ronald, I made him perma-weak I think by accident. Not only that but I almost got his arm cut off, he's has more heart problems than Kenny from south Park, and got hurt really bad in the abdomen from a zombie.

I'm not gonna get to have any fun for a while.

I keep trying to convince myself to post before the important thing happens, but I just feel too un-inspired. Maby watching some Saturday anime cartoons will help with that. (Learning from the good shows, and feeling better about myself from the bad ones!)

I have a 360..... I was going but I never did. It was at a point in my life where...... shale I say it?..... I didn't like RPGs that much... And I have been meaning to buy it for the longest time now, but still haven't, I need to save for college and have cut myself off from video games.

This is my first time GMing, and the first time I really gave a damn about anything other than Video games. And I still have a damn migraine, so buzz off.

When I first got together with Phizuol, that's the boyfriend's tag, and I moved in with him, I was without a job. I kept myself busy cleaning up the place and what not. He was a bachelor too long, I was bored and the place needed it. He told me to play KoToR one day, and to not clean, etc. I had no interest in playing the game at the time. When he got home and found out I didn't play it, he got upset. He didn't care if anything was clean, he wanted me to play the game. LOL

So he throws the disc into the Xbox, hands me my controller, he actually bought me an old controller, the original ones, the BIG ones. Hate those little ones. Hands me my BIG controller and turns it on and sits down next to me to make sure I play.

Needless to say I enjoyed it greatly and was shocked with the story line and how it progressed through everything. I really liked it.

So that is what I mean by forced. I still think it's the funniest thing retelling this. heh.

Ok GH were going to start working on your abuility to GM. It is obvious you need a bit of help. while ginpu is far better then myself I can get you headed down a better path. I'm learning a lot from ginny as it is just from her Rp alone. so We will talk later today and thru out tommorrow about your story and the lands. where you want it to go what your trying to accomplish. it is a very good idea to have a story already planned out with an ending. Leaving the storyline to be very flexable. but since your the Gm you guide the players where you want them to go without forcing them in a way. such as this

Your char suggest that everyone heads for the boarder into the next kingdom to ask for help, but the rest of the group wants to explore this cave for treasure. well turn that cave into one hell of an advaneture where in the end it turned out to be a secret passage way that en entire army could move thru with no problems and the cave came out behind the capital of the next country.

see in that situation they got to explore the cave. your char may have been bitchy the whole time but they ended up where you wanted them. thats how you guide people in the rp. let them go where they want but come up with some reason why they ended up where you wanted them without acturally forcing their char that way.

I don't think I am that awesome of a GM. It's just me in general, being an artist, and having an eye for detail. I'm detail oriented. heh.

But yes, Demecas does make great points, and I for one and thanking Demecas for offering to help GH improve his GM skills.

Basically you're telling me to be more detailed. Is there some kind of bar? A place on the meter where not detailed enough ends and over detailed begins? Because I'm getting sick of trying to find that point. I try not to go into details because my friends say when I start going into details, I get overzealous. Pisses me off. I could write like Durandal and Ginpu, But I don't because I've been told several times that I get carried away. I even failed an essay because of that. Grr!

God hand that is why this is called pratice. these games are to gain experiance for people who don't have that much or have problems. this is to help each and every one of us.

And ginny yes you are suppouse to know how you want your story to end. not the end end of it all if you please but just the current story. like with shadowfall I have an ending in mind for that part of the story. but there will be other stories with those chars. I even have follow on stories for it. each planed to follow the last one. well if the charatures survive to there.

Ok Godhand your getting so pissy with everyone but do you even understand why everyone is acting the way they are?

the answer is going to be no. open your eyes. First of all your char is a god or demi god or something like that.

wants everyone to just barg in fight hundreds of baddies take the sub boss out then do it again going after the main boss.

but the fucken weak minnions were like 12 levels above us.

you play Deoblo. well looks at it like this. instead of starting off where you would normaly start off at in level 1 your end up in the start of act 5 with no way to get back to act 1.

well thats what you have done to us. then you just go well hell with it everyone just well you all level 16. well that dosen't help. not one bit. true we would be stronger but we don't even know how to make ourselves stronger. your being lazy as a GM. you have a DND group. what if the your DM decided to well send you guys on a mission where the weaker baddies were 12 levels above you and kept screwing each and every single one of the players left and right. how would you feel about that. to me thats a bad DM. from what i can tell you don't have any story to go with and are just making it up as you go.

which your imagination is not the best. trust me I could quote many things you have said to prove it as it has come out of your mouth. but from what I can see the story was everyone meets goes to town town gets destroyed goes to shack teleports to empire. does sneak attack from where they don't expect us only they did cuase val can sence his creations. (nozz and Gill) we are ambushed, we break thru ambush cause zelas is only one strong enought to do anything so he plays GOKU type hero dispatching all baddies. then we meet sub boss. we all get our butts handed to us zelas again plays GOKU type hero. then we do it over again. possibly having people die left and right. as we can't do a danm thing to the baddies.

that is where it looks like it is heading as that is deffienlty your playing style. Your char the lone hero that is the most powerful and can do anything. That is why we are frustrated. and you want to go tell us that we are the one that are wrong. that we have no right to feel this way and that your going to leave and storm off like a child well then go do that. if your not willing to learn and play a decent game and enjoy yourself along with everyone else. well then I'm not going to stop you. just take a good long look at your self in a mirror. cause even on 2kinds from what I've seen they are having the same problems with you.

SO if so many are having these problems with you then don't you think that the problem is most likely not everyone else but you. and no the world isn't out to get you. we here have tried many many many times to show you that we want you here. but all you do is push us away. playing the loner. or the outcasted hero that saves the day then dissappears into the shadows.

Eh, Demecas, I have to correct a couple of things there.

GH isn't having Zelas just so he can be all macho... Zelas is a part of GH's story, which he's shared with me. He isn't making it up as he goes, there is an organized plot behind it all, he just hasn't been very good at handling how it's revealed.

The not leveling up thing was just GH forgetting or not being experienced enough or whatever. He wasn't purposefully trying to make things uber-difficult. It was a mistake.

That's all I wanted to say.

Well, that and: I know how you feel, Salem. I slept in till 1:30. Not as much as you but almost the same. The day feels like it's just begun and it's almost over.
