This is the first main game for the guild You are required to follow the rules of this forum I will not change what has been laid out so far. Your char sheets will be used for this game.

the back ground.

It's about 4000 years after the war of the gods. Technologie of the around the 21st centery use to exist till that war. Civilizaton has drifted back to a time that is more like the middle ages with only a few technological advances still running. electricity/ pumbing. Most people get around on foot or by animal.

No one owns a anything gass powered as gas is nolonger avaialble. The great cities of this world are now called the great ruins of the ancinets. Much of these ruins are covered in vegitation or something like it.

There are no religions or beliefs in gods for everyone beleives they died out during the war.

There are gods but they were so weakend from the war that they have taken to living like mortals. some are marical workers and others are great warlords.

A new darkness has started spreading thru the land. in the last 100 years an area called the dead lands appeared. A lich created a fortification there and has been slowly building his army taking a town here and there. This lich is very powerful almost god like. SOme beleive that the lich was once a god that fell to the great darkness 4000 years ago and reawoke as this evil creature.

The worlds name is Eclipsia.

If the Jjarro artifact was correct, a W'rkncacnter had been vanquished in an ancient battle, and its body flew through space and time until it impacted with what is now called Eclipsia. The chaotic being had laid there, dead (or as dead as these things can be) for several millennia, sleeping and waiting. Now, it stirred.

Durandal eased the Manus Celer Dei back into realspace so that the ship would be masked behind the shadow of the planet's moon. The orbiting hunk of rock provided the perfect place for him to enter the system. Results from technology scans indicated minimal tech levels, so Durandal knew he would be undetected. From behind the Eclipsia's moon, the bioroid was readied, and a copy of the A.I.'s personality construct was transferred over to it. It was equipped with appropriate clothes and equipment, before being teleported to the planet's surface.

The bioroid would act as Durandal's eyes and ears on the planet. He would mingle with society and attempt to assess the situation. It had its orders programmed into it, but at the same time it maintained its individuality, believing itself to be an independent entity. Durandal ran through thousands of predictions and scenarios before finally deciding that only observing the actual event would suffice to satisfy his curiosity.

Got a few questions.

The world is named Eclipsia, does that mean we renamed the Earth? Or is it a new world?

What tech survives? Guns?

What part of the world does the Lich control? Does the public know about it?

This is a different world. If the story leads us to it Earth will be explained.

The lich is known about now. And controls an area called the deadlands. The deadlands are also slowly growing in all directions all the time.

Distinct aspect of the deadlands is that everything is dead and the land is Grey.

Your weapons and items need to be also in a fashion or size that is acceptable. no overly large weapons. it the weapon is bigger then you and can't fit thru a door easily then it's not accepted.

Hey, my main weapon huge. Oh well I work around it. That why I have the watch, to store things and to teleport around. I guess, It will malfunction and I that's how I appear there. But I can't get it to teleport me back to Earth. Yet.

What race are the villagers-turned-slaves? Are they normal humans or anthros?

Trolls: Can only be killed permently if cut then burned with fire.

You can grind a troll up into thousands of peices if you wanted to but it would regenerate. you have to destroy a troll at the cellular level. and with the way tech is in this world only really fire, acid, elctricity, or a certain magic that reverses the trolls regenerative abuility can kill it.

There are more reasons on why they survive and why the lightning that one member used was so effective. also the captains sword was a fire based sword thats why it could kill trolls. and why he died on it. I would have told anyone who had taken the sword of the intense heat coming from the sword's blade.

They creep me out!) I'll post when someone does something I can act uppon, I'm not good at setting a scene so I'll let someone else do it.

If you want to check your messages, it should be somewhere at the top (depending on what forum type your using). It should say something like "You have 1 new message." Just look for that sort of thing and click it.

Ah. Found your message, but unfortunately it only tells me that if I scroll over the button at the top... which for some reason is in a different language? Why is it marked as "messaggi"? I can understand most of it, but is there a way to get this in English?

Nah. by default the skin set is in a different language. I know that since I was nosing around not yet registered, and well, you can't change a setting if you aren't registered.

So yeah. I just posted the character sheet, and am now trying to figure out where to put myself into play. I think though Zymeth has a good place that I can jump in at. ie... slave girl. I can change my char description to correct that, if of course no one minds me doing that.

Ughh... Your comment brought to mind images of me waiting for weeks in A Keidran Life for morning to come so my character could wake up. We had to wait so long because the other household just kept going and going and wouldn't wrap things up.

The moral of the story is: never wait for morning.

To fix it: simply change the story so that your first post ocurred yesterday (in game) and now she is ready to wake up. It couldn't be too late in the day since this all started when Dema woke up and found the burned village and then ran after the slave traders.

Or you could just wait until the next game day. It's just that you never know how long that will take.

And Zymeth: I was just going off of your post so yes, Roland was running very fast; it's just that he hadn't realized it. Sorry that my other post was confusing.

And about the time thing: yes, it could be dusk, but follow the sequence of events logically with me. Dema wakes up (in the morning) and sees the smoke. She goes to investigate and she runs for a while before coming across the town where the slaves are. There's a relatively short battle. And then it's the present.

Unless Dema and Beowulf ran for 6 hours or so (of which there seems to be little indication) it would seem that it is still indeed close to morning.

However, in order to continue to current developments, I am fine with it being evening now. We can make camp soon and then go to sleep (as long as Dema, BB, DarkFox, and GH agree to it at the same time).

Also: what happened to Fatalcrash's character Alex?

My father has decided to place an indefinite ban on all Internet activities effective immediately, due to my brothers' failing grades. I didn't see Dema's post about the creatures in the tree when I posted that last thing, and I just decided not to edit out my confusion. To clarify the fire thing, it doesn't need to be furry as long as it's cute or lovable, but fur with that makes it stronger. Now I just need to wait for Gin or D or someone to post something for me to build on.

P.S. I'm glad my sudden spike in boredom worked out so well! Maby I could make a copy of this in a section where it would fit better so that people can see it without reading through the whole sign up sheet. (Which forum would that be?)

I never said who's group I was. Deme made it seem as though I was above Deme, Kevin, Lance, and Jack. I however was not. Deme posted after Kevin chops the branch and yells at him, more or less, for ruining the homes of the woodland creatures.

Also a quick note about Roland's spirit sight. Since Roland is still level one, his spirit sight is relatively untrained and he can't see clothes or weapons unless they are- for lack of better terminology- charged with intent, i.e. a weapon someone wants to use for violence (as they often do). Your post was very accurate though, because he would be able to vividly see a spiritual weapon, perhaps even more accurately than people attuned to the physical realm.

Another thing, he can't distinguish too many physical features yet, and can only tell people apart based on their unique magical or spiritual signature. This means that, while he can determine gender of a person, he can't tell the difference between anthros or normal humans.

EDIT: Nothing like a litte comedic miscommunication, eh?

I want to clarify something. Your char's levels are determined by the person running the rp Not your chat rank. Just cause you might have a chat rank of 5 doesn't mean your char is level five.

1. The attack left him unable to move.
2. The attack left him unable to see.
3. The attack took him all night (approx. 5 to 6 hours) to prepare.

Those kinda seem like enough weaknesses to me for just a half-mile line of destruction. Afterall, the only magic Roland has to do is open up a portal to an alternate reality. The size of the attack that comes depends upon how large the portal opened is. As this was Roland's first attempt to use his power, he did not know how large or small to make the portal, and he ended up overwhelming his limited magical abilities, leading to his currently incapacitated state.

These weaknesses would go down if Roland increases his familiarity with the spell (magic level), or creates a smaller portal (and thus a less damaging attack).

Also D, about the last night. I wouldn't really say he can't see at all at night, but think of who was there. Roland doesn't see with light and everyone else besides Zymeth was part cat. So he was be the only one there that couldn't see under those trees.
