First off, let me begin by saying: "AAAAAGGGHHHH!alskdjflhtgghoaish"
As some of you might know, I went through the IB program. It's supposedly the most rigorous high school program available for public education. It basically consists two years of preparation classes in pre-IB to get you ready and then two years of difficult classes. There's loads of homework, essays, projects, mandatory extra-curricular stuff... it's insane. It's like having six AP classes at once... only I tested out of two of my IB classes early and took AP classes. AP is far easier than IB.
But, the point is that at the end of the senior year you take exams that determine how well you learned the information and whether or not you passed the class. You have to meet certain benchmarks with the exam grades in order to pass and if you miss one of them you fail and the past four years was for naught. The results don't come out until after you're out of high school; today in fact.
How to interpret the scores. A 7 is the highest, for HL courses you have to get a 4 or higher. For SL courses you have to get a 3 or higher. Altogether you have to get a score of 24. And so, without further ado... my scores!
Higher Level classes:
Calculus 4
History 5
English 5
Standard Level classes:
Physics 6
Spanish 5
ITGS (it's a tech class) 5
And two bonus points from my Theory of Knowledge class and my Extended Essay brings my total to: 32!
Which means... I win! Ha-ha! I did it. All those years proved worthwhile! I get to hang a little piece of paper on my wall and smile at it every time I walk past. And... that's about all I get out of it. I'm already in college and my admission wasn't dependent on my receiving my IB diploma, but it sure is nice to have.
I feel bad for my roommate though. He got a three in an HL class, which is okay if you have an average of 4 for your higher level classes, but he had fours in all his other HLs and the one three. So even though his total was 26... he isn't going to get his IB Diploma. He's all bummed out and is, as I type this, preparing a joint or whatever you call a marijuana delivery mechanism.

Well grats man. Now stop being a worry wort and start playing!
Although all those letter made no sense to me.

Yeah, I'm typing something up right now for your RP. I'm waiting for GH in Irallia though, assuming he's going to be leading our little group.
I do find it hilariously ironic that you should choose to mention that you don't understand my acronyms, because as I recall that very issue was a major hindrance to my understanding a large amount of what you said not too long ago.
The only important one is IB = International Baccalaureate. Now you see why I just say 'IB.'

IB is some school thing. Didn't we learn I don't care about school? LOL
I knew AP. I even asked a co-worker, figuring it might have been some Florida thing. I already know the schools here are vastly different from what I grew up with in NJ.

As much as I hate to say it I slacked off in high school. I only took two AP classes and got 4s on the tests, other than those classes I took reg. Plus my tech classes which rocked cause they took up the last half of the day. JR year my class built from scratch a battery powered car. And this last year we went to a mentorship and built a hovercraft. The only real class I took was English. My sister on the hand, Took nothing but AP and worked hard and got 4.0 all four years. But now she has no social skills and complains a lot about how she wishes she hadn't worked all that hard.
