I've been thinking alot lately about how I actually got to this site, so I made this cuz I was bored. These all actually happened for the most part. I really believe that if any of these didn't happen then I wouldn't be here. I'll start a couple years ago.
(Part 1: Pokemon and Lemonade)
It was Christmas and I was opening one of my presants. To my surprize it was a GameBoy Color with pokemon designs on it and a Pokemon Yellow version. It was my first ever video game. I was even more happy when I got a little Pikachu to follow me around. I treated it like it was really alive... a little too much actually.
"Oh, I'm so sorry Pika! I couldn't come to play because I had to change the batteries... Oh no, you're hurt. Here, I'll give you my last heal potion!"
Eventually, I beat all the gym leaders with just Pikachu, so I decided to look through Saffron city's buildings to pass time. That's when something happened!
"Hey, they have a vending machine. I'll get a soda and save it for later... Oh, are you thirsty too Pikachu? You aren't damaged, but I have extra money to buy you a drink with... Look, they have lemonade! Here you go!"
Shortly after I lost my game cartrage... I never saw it again!
(Part 2: Halo)
After the loss of my Pikachu, I went to my cousin's house. To cheer me up, he showed me the most glorious thing ever: Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllloooooo!
*One or two years ago*
So I played that and stuff. Then one day I over-heard one of my friends talking about something.
" 'Why are we here?''Why are any of us here? It's one of the great mysteries of life.''Um... no, I mean why were we assigned to this outpost in the middle of nowhere!?''Oh... I don't really know'... " ((It's as close as it's gunna get))
He told me it was from a machinima series called Red vs. Blue, and that it was based on Halo. I just had to see this, so I went to check it out. It's pretty funny, especially the later episodes.
(Part 3: RvB Forum)
I actually didn't join until later, but I liked to read what other people would say about it. I was facinated by the way people would flame or praise others with 'mod points'. I saw a person with a very interesting avatar. When I clicked the profile I saw something that was strangely pleasing to me. There was a picture containing many anime cat/fox girls. I had never seen or heard of anything like that before then.
"Cool! It's anime style girls, and they have fuzzy ears and some are covered in fur... It's a 3 for 1 sale! Yay!"
So I clicked it, and it lead to a list of web comics this person had put together. I looked at them, stunned, for I had never seen a web comic either. One inparticular caught my eye...
"Hm. Something about amnesia and a tiger girl?... Seems good so far. I'll read it!"
(Part 4: TwoKinds)
I got there and saw the current comic. I remember, it was the one when Eric was painting Flora and finaly got her tail to go up. (lol) So I read it, I liked it, I eventually finished up to the current one. What happened then was horrible! I had become addicted to it and now there was only a supply of 2-3 pre week! I looked at other comics, but they werent as good, so I decided to look in the forum for something to replace it. My best bet was to look in the role-play section, but being the noob I was, the first and only one I read all the way through was...
(Part 5: Rikunosuki's Chaotic, anyone who wants in, ruless RP)
And that's how I found most of you!... Yup, read the whole thing...
"Why does Jack have woman's clothing?"
Well, that would be disturbing... if I hadn't already thought of that before I read it!
And after that I already told you where I found this link so that's it. (I bet this was unexpected!)
Spirit Wolf
Hmm, interesting. I think I'll trace mine too. Hmm.
When my mom loved my dad 16 years ago... *THWACK!* Ow, ok, fast forward!
I was on a site called NMA-Fallout looking at stuff for this game called fallout when I found a link to Post-Nuke comic. I clicked it and read my first Webcomic ever. A year later I got my computer back and decided to look for other webcomics. I forget how I found 2kinds, but I did. A few months later I decided to enter a forum for Thunder and Lightning (Good comic BTW) and saw the role-play part. So I decided to join the RP tjinking it would be fun, but the forum kinda died, so I got bored. Another few months went by before I entered the 2kinds forum and man, I'm glad I did. Now I have less of a life than I did before. Thank you, guys!
So, theres my trace. Time to play KotOR!
BlackBlade
Let's see.....
Browsing through my RvB friends' friends I found Tom's account and made him one of my friends then I read his comic and started to post on the forums and joined in the fight against GH and Foxlord. You know the rest.
ginpu
Awesome game btw
lemme see... 4 years ago my boyfriend introduced me to PVP Online by Scott Kurtz, which led to me to read Penny Arcade and GU Comics. From GU Comics (I think) I found the WTF comic. Liking that someone drew one of the feline races from EQ I checked out the links there. Miss Mab was the titled link. I clicked it and found DMFA, read every comic and anxiously await the next. My desire was not fullfilled when I caught up, so I started looking at The Nice, which is a ring of webcomics. I saw Namir Dieter and Alien Dice on there. Read through them in no time. Eventually through the various comics I read (which are all linked on my LINKS link on my website) I came across the Awakened. Sarah had a link to TWC. I went huh? and clicked it, voted for her then looked through the huge list and eventually saw Two Kinds. I started reading all the archives and finished in no time. I love reading comics more than any book. I absorb them. *AHem* anyways...
After quite a while I realized hadn't checked out any forums for other artists. How could I possibly reach people if I didn't communicate? I check my email and see that a new member joined my forums. I was like huh? So I look and the name is mulefoot. And I sit there and I think... and then I knew who it was. I went over to Slop's website (which is a really fucked up comic, but I love it) and join his forums. We PM a few times and that was when I thought hey I should do this more often. I then grew the cohonies to register and post at Two Kinds where I made a post and got no responses for a while. After a few days I checked back to see if anyone responded. I was pounced on by Demecas then asked to sigh a contract in blood by FoxLord and that's that.
I am a very detail oriented person. Sorry. Lots of words. LOL
Durandal
Wow, Zymeth. My story is so frighteningly similar to yours; I seriously should have copyrighted it.
I too was obsessed with pokemon... even to the point of watching the cartoon and reading the books that they were putting out. And then one of the books, maybe book four... had the word 'telepathic' to describe some psychic pokemon. And so, since I was a young little whippersnapper, I went up to my dad and asked him what that big word meant. He frowned and said it wasn't important, so I went back to reading my book (we were still in the bookstore and we hadn't paid for it yet). A couple of days later, my parents sat down with my brother and me, and they explained to us that pokemon were demons, and that they were simply a way Satan used to lure us into more evil things... like Dungeons and Dragons.
((Ginpu, I'm sorry, but I'm not joking))
I had to trade my pokemon red and yellow for some Donkey Kong game and a terrible Star Wars game. I lost interest in video games shortly after that for quite a while.
But then, I went over to the house of one of my brother's friends, and they were playing some game. For some reason, I had thought it was a stupid game the first time I had seen it, but after going back and even playing it a few times I realized... Halo was amazing. I got an Xbox of my own and played Halo and Dynasty Warriors amongst other games, and eventually I too found RedvsBlue.
It was a long time before I decided to browse the forums, but when I did I went around and looked at different people's pictures. Amongst one profile with cute anime girls, there was a section of a comic with Flora and Trace. The comic read:
"Worst case scenario:
Trace: Your actions have awakened my memories and I'm going to kill you.
Best case scenario:
Trace: I've killed Keith, Flora. Let's have sex."
It wasn't that day that I pursued the image any further, but even while offline the image of a sexy catgirl smoldered in my mind, and after a few days I Googled "Flora Keith Trace" and I came to 2kinds. I read the whole thing through twice in two days. After about another week, I joined up for the forum, although I didn’t plan to be on there much, just as I wasn’t on the RvB forum much. But then I found the RP board, and I read all the rules, and I read some of the ones already there, and to me it seemed like these people were living in their own, magical world. A world that didn’t consist of school, work, sleep and repeat. They were the masters of their destiny, and that appealed to me. So, I messaged Snuggles and asked if I could join A Keidran Life. That was to be my first RP, and it had a good long run. Eventually, I was to meet you all, either there, or upon moving here.
Hopefully we can continue RPing for years to come, and we can develop as a community of friends.
Hey, remember in the Ginpu into thread I said that D would be my General in the future?

Zymeth
Oh, wait, I meant the other picture. You said you clicked on a profile with lots of anime girls.
Durandal
Zymeth: Oh, I don't remember that now.
Godhand: Yes actually, I was just looking at that and wondering. I was going to include in my post of the link something about how what you said could have been a foreshadowing for Gilliam, but I decided against it.
What did you mean by that at the time?
Spirit Wolf
That you were going to be a general in my army. Heh... yea...
Durandal
Hmm, but you said "supposed to," and acted as though you disliked the idea that fate had ordained just such an occurrence.
How did you know?
Spirit Wolf
My guy was the son of 2 gods and jumps through time a lot, you figure it out.
