Why I post so muchI post to escape reality, heres why. I have a common genetic disorder that affects the brain, not really in a bad way though. I thought it would be interesting to put you guys in my shoes so I made this thing full of pros and cons.
Immagine that you are one of the smartest kids in your class, you understand nearly all the work, but none of your class mates.
(example)
Teacher: '...then you take the square root and you have the value for x. Questions?'
Some guy who talks to everyone: 'Do you want to go skateboarding later?'
Me: "What? I don't skateboard. I'm trying to pay attention to this."
Immagine that you can get correct answers almost all the time, but anything open-ended is nearly impossible. (Who is correct among the two?: Jeffrey. Explain your answer: OH NO! I don't know what to say!)
Immagine that you could cut yourself off from reality while still preforming tasks such as walking or studying, but this cuts off your emotion too and leaves you like this until you are done. (Because of this, I sometimes like to immagine I'm a powerful cyborg in the future. Though I guess thats taken)
Immagine that you could see every detail of any one thing you focus on, and know all about it with just some time, but doing so reveals all the imperfections in objects, art, food, people. Now amplify this one by 10! (Apple sause drives me crazy)
Each one of these evens out in my oppinion. (I'm not miserable, I'm just emotionless most of the time) To make this fun I added a poll

I know what you're going through, some my teachers think I'm weird, mainly my math teacher. They don't get I'll, be drawing or writing the come over and give me a sheet of work I'll will be doing what ever I was before and be doing the work, even if we just learned it. I try to stay focused, but I get warped in my own world I forget what I'm doing. Driving scares the shit out of me. I'll end up at school and not even remeber how I got there!!! But that's why I'm good at fixing cars I pick apart car with an Iron fist. Example: Oil in coolant: 1) somebody made a big mistake. 2) Oil cooler leaking in radiator. 3) hole in block 4) mixed up hoses. Usually it the first but my stubbornness to be 110% sure makes me check all the possible causes. Today it was number 5. If you ever want to know what oil and coolant look like when hot, think mayonnaise i swear it looks like mayonnaise, but eat it, it'll kill you and give three different kinds of cancer but not in that order.

I'm in a school where the teachers are idiots, really! My math teacher can't spell, my science teacher doesn't know a thing about explosives, and my history teacher hardly knows anything about the Hindenburg! It makes me want to scream my head off.
Anyway, nice story. That must really suck, heh.

Re: Why I post so much | Quote: | | but anything open-ended is nearly impossible | join the club, I can barely scrape by with those communication questions.
I answered the question, what more do you want?
My gr 10 science teacher lit the floor on fire.......not sure about explosives though, maybe napalm.
Gr 11 english class scared our teacher- I was one of 2 people who knew what a molotov cocktail was.
Hidenburg? What's that? (jk, it's hard to ignore the worlds biggest dirigble going up in flames)
bye!
edit: Live long and prosper! (if you don't get it, google Vulcan.)

Good to know that I'm not alone here. (Aw... darn. Nobody has chosen the 4th option on the poll yet. =P <There should be a smiley for this< )
Has anyone here seen "Monk" on TV? Watch it and you'll see what I mean by that last point I made, lol... but instead of magnifying 10 times like for me, it's more like 100 times for him!
