Zotasu trotted back to the group and looked around to see what everyone was up to. He still wasn't happy, but he was feeling a lot calmer than before. He sat down quietly in the snow and folded his front legs in front of him before laying his head down on top of them. He had heard Rhinli's question, but he let the silence drag on a bit before speaking up.
"I would suggest a cave of some sort." He didn't continue until everyone was looking at him, and then he glanced down at the ground. "Caves provide shelter from the elements as well as protection from any casual observers," he explained. He looked up to see if his suggestion was being well received. "Shouldn't be too hard to find one in the mountains..." _________________
Alec shook his head. "What about the creatures that live deeper inside the cave! What if an ogre... No, that dragon Gale's freaking out about lives in there! We might be able to take down an ogre, but a fully experienced dragon? Oh great, now I'm freaking out about that guy! Thanks a lot Gale." _________________ It's time to kick ass and chew bubble gum, and I'm all outta gum

I am not freaking out! I'm... cautious. Leave me alone. He returns to eating. Dumb Alec, I am not freaking out. He knew he was freaking out, but he had every right. _________________

Zotasu nodded slowly Alec's words. "That would be a concern," he agreed slowly. "But... we should be able to tell inhabited caves from empty ones. Beings don't live in a cavern and leave no signs of their presence."
He leaned his head down again and stated to sketch random shapes in the snow with a [?claw, talon, finger] idly. "Still, there should be plenty of caves to choose from. If we split up we could find a suitable one rather quickly." He pointed to Kalm with a jerk of his thumb. "We could get him out of this cold faster." _________________
"There's nothing wrong about freaking out over a dumb big-ass dragon that could squish you in one stomp," Alec said to Gale before Zotasu spoke. After Zotasu finished his sentence he spoke up against him again, "Wouldn't someone have to stay here and protect Kalm? He's in no shape to go searching out alone while who knows what comes to kill him." _________________ It's time to kick ass and chew bubble gum, and I'm all outta gum

Kalm ripped apart his meat swallowed his it in large chunks. "I should be good to move in a few minutes. I can feel my toes again. The food should speed things up." He swallowed his chunk "Besides this fire just screams "Hey! we're over here!!" So not moving will be a pretty stupid idea. And if you you are worried about the old dragon might I suggest a small cave. I mean my parents couldn't fit into my part of our lair." _________________ Gravity is a contributing factor in nearly 73% of all accidents involving falling objects.
((I am assuming Gale is more than just looking around being stationary? Like he's moved several hundred to thousand feet.))
About 5000 feet to the West of the fire Gale stumbles upon a river that falls from the mountain side. ((a waterfall)) He searches around it and notices behind the waterfall is an opening, a cave. Not too large, big enough to fit several medium and small sized creatures inside, may a large or two as well. While searching the ground for tracks or signs of life, Gale finds nothing beyond a few scattered rabbit tracks.
Does Gale enter or go back to the group?
=============================================
((This side of the mountain is warmer, and Kalm should be fine with the temperature either way. Endure Elements is a 24 hour spell that allows you to survive comfortably in hot or cold environments.))
The temperature is around 55F this evening. A gentle breeze, clear skies. The sun is almost done setting, twilight has encroached upon them.
"Putting out the fire is something we'll have to do soon, more like now. Kalm, since you are already in there, how about smothering it, then we'll have Rein finish putting it out with some water." Rhinli looks around waiting for Gale to return from his searching.
"Arauthator...Old White Death..." Rhinli mutters almost to herself. _________________ Sarcasm, just one more service that I offer.
"Sure." Kalm puts out the fire by stomping on it and smothering it with his wings until there is no flame just smoldering ash. There you go. So where are we going sleep? 'Cause I'm dead tried, I feel like I could sleep long into next week." Kalm laid back on the ground and yawned, a cloud of black smoke came from Kalm's mouth and drifted over the group. "Sorry...." _________________ Gravity is a contributing factor in nearly 73% of all accidents involving falling objects.
Wish I could whistle. He heads back. Ok, 5000 feet from here is a cave behind a waterfall. It's covered and we can more than likely all fit in it. Nothing much bigger than us can fit in it. Want to head there?
