"How do I put this, forgive me, I am not the best 'people' person. You're eyes... they aren't cut." Ryoshi paused. "I don't think they are even living tissue." she touches one with her finger gently. "Do you even feel that?" _________________ Sarcasm, just one more service that I offer.
Sarasvati's eyes twinkled for a second. He almost laughed as he looked down at the darts sticking into his flesh. He stood now, the only person awake in the room, and he enjoyed the sudden silence. Everything was quiet; everything except for the rushing in his ears. His lips parted in a twisted smile as his eyes watched his own skin. The liquid dullness was creeping through him. He watched as it spread outward from the points of impact. Very quickly he began to lose feeling until his entire body was not responding. Normally this would not have been a problem, but in his current condition, Sarasvati could not contact the bionics that lay just beneath the surface. His outer muscles were all he had, and even though he could only limp lamely about with them, they were the only things that kept him moving. Without them...
The tug of gravity reached up to yank Sarasvati from his pose, and sure enough his ragdoll body responded positively to its call. He collapsed inward and lay staring at the ceiling. Although his ears were no longer providing information about any noises from outside, his brain provided the soundtrack for him. It screamed to him about his failure, and he simply let it rant. He had nothing else to do but stare at the ceiling anyway. _________________
"No, I don't feel that. I remember my old eyes were definently cut though, and most certainly the pain. They're making noises. Should I be afraid of that?" Nick's ears twitched as the eyes seemed to move to focus on Ryoshi after she touched one. _________________ It's time to kick ass and chew bubble gum, and I'm all outta gum

"These aren't you're eyes then. If you don't know where they came from, I most certainly have no clue. But a lot of good it does to try and tell you what they are like if you still can't see them. They are odd. They almost look like someone dropped ball bearings in there. Smooth, round, metallic looking, no definition between what would be the pupil, iris and sclera." Ryoshi moves away, Nick hears the sound of a door opening and closing with a suction sound. He then hears the psst and click of a can opening. He can hear Ryoshi as she chugs down a drink. "Sorry there kiddo. Forgot to eat, rather drink in the past 2 hours." She pauses a moment to chug down more, "wish they would make this shit taste better." She crumples the can and tosses it to the trash.
Nick can hear her walking around. He hears the sound of running water, the sound of hands washing, paper towels being torn, water turning off. Nick hears the sound of the fridge opening and closing again and the shuffling of plastic bottles in a cabinet. Probably medicine tablets by the sound of it. Again the psst hiss click sound of a canned beverage. He feels a cold, wet object touch his hand. "Here, hope you like Mountain Dew. It's a soda." She hands Nick the can then takes his other hand. "These are Valium. They'll help keep you calm and less twitchy making this easier. Once the Valium kicks in, which should be about 10-15 minutes, I'll go ahead and hit ya up with an anesthetic. We'll pop these things out, put in the new ones, bandage ya up, let you sleep it off and see how things are in the morning. K?"
"You get to sleep here tonight, in a nice bed. Don't worry, I don't sleep much, so it's no intrusion. I'll probably stay up watching over you and monitoring you most the night. Making sure things go right." Ryoshi smiles at Nick even though she knows he can't see her. She stares at him for a while. _________________ Sarcasm, just one more service that I offer.

"As much fun as turrets can be, I think I'll leave now"
((sarcastic, my char enjoys turrets much less than I do))
*Turns around under the bench and crawls out with dificulty from his tail. A dart lands on the bench surface. He looks around then walks quickly to the exit* "I guess they missed me... I should head back to th-" *He tenses up all of a sudden and falls face-first to the floor. He looks back and there is a tranq stuck in one of his spikes* ((Is it phisical ammo or is it like Star Treck?)) "Oh... Well that kinda sucks..." *Knocked out*
((I lack detail and drama... got a problem with that?!)) _________________

(No problem Zymeth, it'd help your posts be more interesting and make sense of them easier, but I can picture Ray fine-ish. Physical ammo.)
Two guards finally arrived at the scene and stood back near the entrance and turned off the turrets using the switch next to them. "Why's everyone down on the ground?" One guard approached the lieutenant's limp body to feel for a pulse. "I don't know, but they all look alive. Let's take them to the infirmary. Radio in some help to put all prisoners back in their cells and move the officers to the infirmary." The other officer beeped in on his radio and followed his orders.

"Thank you very much for all this. I didn't expect to find this kind of kindness in a prison." Nick took a drink of the Mountain Dew, savoring the flavor he had not tasted in a long time before swallowing it. "This'll be like taking your tonsils out, only with eyes and probably more painful and difficult. I get to keep the eyes in a jar right?"
(Hmm, is the Valium an injection or pills?) _________________ It's time to kick ass and chew bubble gum, and I'm all outta gum

Ren enters his cell and lays down waiting for the guard to pass. When he did, Ren took this chance to try to open the vent in his cell. After a few strenuous minutes he finally pulls it out. He crawls in. Now then, which way to the medical supply room? He crawls around, looking for the medical supplies.
((He's thinking about Anesthetics.)) _________________
"He finds you when you're sleeping, and when the daylight fades..."
((Oops, thought I mentioned they were two pills. Waiting for the Valium to take affect before stabbing him with the needle. Less stressful.))
"I can't say for sure why I'm being this kind to you. Chris wasn't too far off about me. I've not killed anyone, or disfigured them like Ren, but I've not made anything easier on them, usually they get to writhe in pain." Ryoshi let's out a sigh. "I just can't place my finger on it. Though I guess consider yourself lucky."
She stares at his eyes again. Like the Reverend, Nick has something otherworldly, something that shouldn't exist. While she can't place her finger on the maker, she knows they aren't legal eyes and she is reasonably sure that they hold a hidden purpose. "They may not need to be kept in a jar. They seem so, so... like they are made of metal. I really do want to inspect these, figure out how they are made, what their real purpose is and even more so, why someone condemned to death has something so peculiar in them. There's something that bothers me about them. I know they aren't legal. I'm baffled as to why no one noticed them before you got here..." She pauses for a moment and looks at Nick. He's kinda swaying about in his chair with a shit-eaten grin on his face. "Sorry to bother you with so many words, we'll talk more about it later. Let's go ahead and get started so that you can see what you look like, so you can look your best when they... well... let's just get this done."
Ryoshi propped the bottom of the chair up, so that Nick leaned backwards a bit. She placed a stuffed dog on his chest. "Here, hold this, it should add some comfort." She then turned on the bright lights, checked over the eyes, pulled over a tray of various tools and instruments and stared at the mercury orbs one last time as they whirred in Nick's head. Ryoshi slowly inserted a small needle into Nick's flesh, just outside the edge of his eye lid. She did this on both sides. She then puts some drops in his eyes, that should help numb the nerves a bit. "Just relax, breath normal, and try to look straight forward, the keep them still." Ryoshi placed something around Nick's left and right eye that seemed to hold his eyelids wide open. Ryoshi grabbed an instrument, and with a small amount of effort popped the right eye out. She carefully disconnected the muscles and nerves, placing the orb in a jar of saline solution. She repeats the same thing to the left eye.
((Kinda used my experience with Lasik to describe everything UP to the removal. heh. My doc gave me a stuffed puppy to hold, 2 valium, and I was still a little nervous))
