Gilliam concentrated on the magic floating about the room. He closed his eyes but continued 'seeing' the mystical energy that permeated their surroundings. He couldn't make out anything clearly enough to determine exactly what the magic was doing, but all the same he made the hand symbol he was required to do and said in a firm voice, "solutum veneficium!"
When he opened his eyes he was dismayed to note that his detect magic spell had gone away, as had the light from his hand. He only hoped the spell's effect had been useful in some way. _________________
A few of the bodies stir, then start getting up. They don't look like your normal people though. Their nails are longer and sharper, and so are the teeth. They start moving towards the group slowly. _________________

umm sorry nozz you were right. and it looks like these things killed the guys outside they are probably golems or something like that. as their hands are not human. so I'm not sure they were ever dead bodies.
